I'm always amazed at the people who complain that Carnival isn't classy enough for them. But depending on where they live, it might not be easy to switch to another cruise line if they want to be able to drive versus fly to their embarkation port.
I have no idea why these people cruised enough times to reach platinum status when they hate cruising. That's insanity, did they think once reached, that they have power to change cruising to their expectations?
Chris, I always love watching your videos, especially the “What every cruiser wants” series. Great job! One critique however, your audio is consistently lower than other content creators. It even sounds a little muffled. Just a heads up. Keep on creating these great productions.
1- My wife and I are SEASONED cruisers and we LOVE the MDR the way it is. We are almost diamond and the interactions between us and the crew is what we look forward to every cruise. 2- As far as I am concerned you do not deserve a refund. 3- I have been on 21 Carnival cruises and have NEVER seen any "BED BUGS". I wonder why they are trying to hurt Carnival.
Another good posting Chris. My first tip for new cruisers, old cruisers, anyone who cruises. GET INSURANCE! Going on a cruise is an investment. Protect that investment. I hate when people try to use their loyalty level as a way to elevate their position on anything and everything they are for or against. I know his because I AM A DIAMOND PLUS! LOL Keep up the good work Chris.
Carnival doesn’t owe them a flat out refund but the cruise line should definitely credit such loyal customers’ non-refundable already paid money to a rescheduled cruise in a couple months or when the platinum folks can go. It’s not only good business it’s the right thing to do. And why is the picture of Carnival’s British bossman reversed?
We cruise on Carnival for the fun atmosphere. We want music. We want the entertainment in the MDR. Act of God? Travel Insurance! I agree with the comment how did they get to Diamond or Platinum status. The bed bug infestations accusations are hitting multiple Cruise lines. Saw it for NCL & Carnival. Obviously a Karen Troll.

I suspect that carnival marketing dept is actually being behind the pictures of the towel animal Royal Caribbean cabins being infested.

If they want a super duper quiet Cruise experience. Go on a luxury Cruise where there's only like 200 to 300 passengers on the ship
