    Wow that's what I need!
    I would love to own a sweet Charger R/T.
    I love those cars.Very nice! Sounds good.
    My family had a car lot and used to bid on retired state police cars, that were in Richmond, Va.
    The cars were at the state police headquarters on Midlothian Pike.
    I learned to drive on a black
    1969 Fury ll Plymouth. (Two door)
    With the 440 police interceptor engine, automatic tranny. The alternators were heavy duty also.
    The rifle flaps were still intact at the front seat.
    Nothing like the "roar" of the 440 interceptor engine when you get "passing gear."
    Seems like you are setting still for a second
    then the engine "roars." Swish you're gone!
    Be ready those 440 Interceptor engines
    are really fast. Nothing like that thrill.
    Love those old cars!
    440 Interceptor is my favorite engine.

We agreed on the 440 magnum but he returned from the dealer with the order for a '68 SE 383 base engine.🤢 Dealer refused to take orders for cars with high performance engines because of excessive warranty work. Warranty repairs were a money looser, according to the dealer.😢

    • @samspace81
      @samspace81  5 лет назад

      You could get A/C with a 440 automatic R/T to my knowledge. Thanks for following Samspace81, Mario. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

    • @Cornmolio
      @Cornmolio 5 лет назад

      samspace81 in 69 you could, but in 68 you could not. I found this out when I had a 68 Charger heater only car. Everyone wanted it to make an RT clone. The air conditioning is a giveaway that this car is a clone. But I’d still take it 👍🏻

    • @Cornmolio
      @Cornmolio 5 лет назад

      samspace81 Is the owner claiming this car to be a genuine R/T? My mechanic had numbers from a real R/T and wanted to weld them into my car to call it a real R/T. But I refused, because I was building the car for myself, not to make a profit. Plus, I didn’t want to have to pay 15 years of registration fees for the car that those numbers came from 😂

      samspace81 Did a little research and I think you are correct. I think I was given wrong information. My car was an automatic console car as well. But heater only. It’s interesting that the glass on the heater only car was clear and didn’t have that green tint. Also didn’t have a vinyl top. I miss that car.
