Liked and subbed. This was my introduction to Ren over a year ago. I think it's art - and with it he opens the door into head and heart. I was hooked!! I have watched Hi Ren loads more times as I enjoy watching the reaction of new peeps. And his singing voice? You're not wrong... His voice is incredible. Ren's catalogue can be divided into two main categories I think: The songs you need to watch the music video in order to get the full experience and they are more theater/performance art than traditional "songs" (Hi Ren, Money Game trilogy, The Tale of Jenny and Screetch trilogy). And then the songs you can "just" listen to and you don't need the music video to get the full experience (though the videos are alway worth a watch imho). They are the songs you can just put on and enjoy (depending on your mood).

Most of the things you think you’re going to get hate for are just things we all accept about Ren - the Jamaican influence in his voice, the theater/art style to his videos, etc so I’d say it shows you’re pretty in tune with Ren. His style changes so much from song to song you will find some that you really connect with ❤
This was Ren's real story. He was very sick , misdiagnosed as bipolar=depression and ME for 7 years before finally getting a correct diagnosis of Lyme disease and autoimmunity. It took 2 stem cell transplants to being him halfway back. He has been sick for 13 years now and spent the whole of last year and is still in Canada seeking a better level of health. He speaks for those made invisible by chronic mental and physical illness. One if his biggest identities is as a story teller and genre bender. He raps,beatboxes, priduces beats,writes, plays guitar,base,piano,drums,and melodica, all self taught. I suggest Genesis for the rap side of Ren and Hold On. It is 1 take with 3 cameras They used a guys basement and didn't have permission but the guy gave him a hour to use it > He did 4 takes and this was the best one. May I suggest you look into "The Big Push" doing "War Pigs" or "I shot the sheriff" pick the Thumbnail showing Ren wearing red suspenders those have highest quality of the versions done. His next album plans do not include Rap.

Most of the things you think you’re going to get hate for are just things we all accept about Ren - the Jamaican influence in his voice, the theater/art style to his videos, etc so I’d say it shows you’re pretty in tune with Ren. His style changes so much from song to song you will find some that you really connect with ❤

This was Ren's real story. He was very sick , misdiagnosed as bipolar=depression and ME for 7 years before finally getting a correct diagnosis of Lyme disease and autoimmunity. It took 2 stem cell transplants to being him halfway back. He has been sick for 13 years now and spent the whole of last year and is still in Canada seeking a better level of health.
He speaks for those made invisible by chronic mental and physical illness.
One if his biggest identities is as a story teller and genre bender. He raps,beatboxes, priduces beats,writes, plays guitar,base,piano,drums,and melodica, all self taught. I suggest Genesis for the rap side of Ren and Hold On. Singing and rap:LOST ALL FAITH,

It is 1 take with 3 cameras They used a guys basement and didn't have permission but the guy gave him a hour to use it > He did 4 takes and this was the best one. I heard him disclose this in a interview. For his singing? A rough angelic you might say. A good one for his voice try Fred Again mash-up.. You will like it. thanks for a new reaction. Also, Ren does more than Rap. May I suggest you look into "The Big Push" doing "War Pigs" or "I shot the sheriff" pick the Thumbnail showing Ren wearing red suspenders those have highest quality of the versions done.
His next album plans do not include Rap.
