- In this video I use the @Kubotatractorcorp L3901 with the land plane to spread and grade 40 YARDS of dirt to fill in an area where a stone wall USED to be!

Yep this one is actually the Piranha tooth bar, but they do really up the capabilities of these loaders!

Hey Jake, nice job! I am picking up my new land plane on Monday. I have a box blade but looking forward to the land plane for my gravel driveway and work similar to this where I am not moving large amounts of dirt: Jeff

Are you concerned for the frost to heave those stones up next spring, great looking job.
Not really, we will be adding more dirt on top but if they heave up they will sink back down eventually.

New England stone walls are treasure troves. I would have loved to swing a metal detector through that yard when they moved the stone wall!

I've been debating getting a land plane, but I don't know if I would use it as much as my handy dandy workhorse/counterweight box blade 😄. Oh, and glad to see you were able to move that wood pile with your bucket fairly easily. The tooth bar help "grab" it?
Thanks! The land plane is great for grading like I did here, not so much for moving dirt. The tooth bar definitely helps give the material something to catch on!
