One of my cats sounds like this when she is trying to get me to follow her. I just kinda interpreted it as her communicating with me and even appreciate it. I love talking cats.
I have gotten really lucky that my cat takes cues from my routine instead of time or her own desires. She knows she gets breakfast AFTER I am ready for the day regardless of me getting up at 6am or 10am. She has never once tried to wake me up because me waking up doesn’t mean food. She also knows that when I get home from work she gets a hello snuggle and then I go change clothes. Only after I am out of my work clothes does she get food so she won’t ask for it until I am done. If she’s not getting and afternoon snack today then we skip the behavioral cue. That means we can do routines whenever we want because her cue comes from our behavior. It’s much easier than trying to stick to a cat routine. Just incorporate your cat’s needs into your routine.

My cat is clingy, vocal, and runs around “randomly,” and I’ve been watching all your videos for answers or clues as to what to examine next (still haven’t figured out this “mama’s boy!”) I have to say, watching this I am so impressed and love how you approach what not only people are doing wrong, but what they are doing right. It comes from the heart and understanding and provides everyone with respect toward their relationship with their cat. Love it!
I have one like that. She wants to be in my lap 24/7. When I get up, she'll jump onto my back and perch on my shoulders if I'm standing still. It's gotten a tiny bit better since she's been spayed.
Theo knows that I will let him onto the front porch whenever he asks, so he will go to the door to get me out off the couch, Once I'm up, he runs into the kitchen for treats.
My cat does this when he’s bored😭😭 I also work from home so he seems to think I’m available to play alllll day because I do sometimes stop to play with him🥺
I love how this is actually just like behaviour management for kids in the classroom! model/demonstrate good behaviour, reward good behaviour, don't reward bad behaviour. still haven't got kitty off the benches though...
When my cat was a kitten I thought him to stand on his hind legs for a treat now he’s three years old and every time he wants food he stands on his hind legs and begs. Oops 😬 😅
Wow. Mo mo is my cat. Verbatim. Same yowl, same pawing. Same WFH situation....Which means same solution! Buttons to the yowl, silence is gold. Btw She now does the silent stare... hoping Ill reward.

i recently got a cat, and the previous owners said she will usually hide for days in a new environment. with us, she just hid for 20 minutes and i could even pet her at the first day. your videos taught me a lot of knowledge and it's going great !
Nina sometimes comes into the kitchen when I have hot pans/flames going. I used to throw a treat for her to chase to get her out...until she started being underfoot A LOT more. Then I realised I'd basically been rewarding her for bothering me...

Thank u so much for your videos they are really so much help :)
Not only does my Princess Cuddles wake me at 4 am, she has trained her “sister” to do the same 🙀🙀😹. They walk back and forth on my tum and chest until I get up. If I close my bedroom door, they seriously perform Reveille, substituting MEOWS for a bugle. I would not put it past them to find a trumpet and learn to play it, anything to make me rise and feed quicker than I already am. Oh and if I get up to pee, say around 2:30am or 3:00, they have no trouble following me and doing serious rubbing, all in the hope that human peeing in cat language means FEED ME NOW😹😹. But I LOVE them dearly.
My house is FULL of toys and scratching posts and towers and windows everywhere to look outside. My cat will SCREAM and throw a tantrum - only getting louder and louder if he's ignored. No amount of ignoring him works, so I'm just genuinely at my wit's end. (The puzzle toy IS nice, but doesn't stop him from yelling for what he wants - which is usually to go outside - and he DOES get to go outside, but he can't be out there ALL the time. Now the kitten is learning from him, to start crying and scratching the door to go out.) The babies are hyper intelligent, and know that if they just keep meowing louder, eventually we can't take it anymore.
Gotcha well trained to respond to the relentless meowing because the cat knows he can out-meow your patience. Now he’s showin’ the youngster how it’s done.
This is the same problem I'm having!! And my bf wants to get our cat a cat siblings but I refuse to agree because I feel my cat will teach it these bad habits😭 mind you she starts when it time for us to go to bed
My cat requests a family picture of jackson with all his cats🤓 she says all she sees is you every time, where are all the stars of the Galaxy family??😂😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸
My cat yells at me like that for pettings. We talk to eachother for like 15 minutes, where he "Talks me into it." And then I give him lots of love. We both enjoy the interaction. ❤
Dog Trainer Here, Great advice, great example, very easy to follow and informative. My favorite part was when you stressed on the Reinforcing for a separate behavior.
I find that cats are the most enjoyable when they are trying to control me. It adds a higher level to our interactions, along with play, feedings, and our other routines.
@@kitchenboy69 Not quite. Photosensitivity can cause many different responses. Thankfully my Photosensitivity issues are not seizure related, but migraine. Flashing lights or lots of color tend to give me migraines and trigger a lot of neurological issues (slurring speech, loss of coordination, inability to process thoughts)
My cats do play me like a fiddle, I know it, and love it. My problem is worse, cause I don't hate what they do, it is so adorable they are communicating anything that I don't care they are manipulating me.
Despite being an indoor-outdoor cat, having cat siblings, and playtime everyday, my one cat had trouble with excessive meowing and mounting the other cats. Then I got a food puzzle and put one meal a day of his in the food puzzle and he calmed down and the behavior problems went away.
OMG this video is perfect for me. We have two CH cats and the girl just meows incessantly sometimes. They are both fixed since 3 months old. She has done it less ever since we stopped doing things that reinforced the behavior, and made sure to include more structured/scheduled play times.
I just adopted 2 female cats from a friend who's owner died of Covid. I've had them for 4 months now. Chloe has a habit of licking plastic bags. I use them as wastebasket liners and she chews and licks on the ends. She even dragged one out of the wastebasket and ran off with it.
Maybe try to rub the plastic bags with lemons/lemon juice? I'm sure they'll stop when that flavour hits them and they'll associate the bin with lemon taste
Buy some small trashcan liners and see if it makes a difference. I like to get the ones that have a scent of flowers on or in them. She probably will not like the taste
My cats have me trained quite well. If they want to be picked up and pet and I don't pick them up then they jump up and climb up. They don't understand the word "No". They understand I want my way, I get my way. But I wouldn't change them for all the money in the world. They're my fur babies and spoiled rotten. They have me very well trained. 😃😊🙂
Right on, Jackson! My little cat face went through this phase and I took the steps that you recommend in this video and it nipped it in the bud. Thanks! 👍
this came at the right time bc i’ve been struggling with this with my kitty Biscuit 😢 the one behavior that stresses and irritates me more than anything else is excessive noise/MEOWING so this is much needed rn
Ugh - guilty as charged! My 10 week old kitten, Mikey, is obsessed with playing in, and climbing my curtains! Every time he is in (or ON) them I pick him and and walk around with him for a few minutes. Most of the time this calms him down from what I like to call "monster mode" where he is doing everything he can to burn off every last shred of energy that he has in his tiny little body. So this a HUUUUGE THANK YOU from me to you for showing me the error of my ways. Now I either distract him with something else, or I simply relocate him to a more appropriate part of the house. :)
My cats have me fully trained and rewards me with loads of snuggles when I give them what they want🤣🤣. My 19 year old daughter keeps telling me to stop giving them what they want🤣. We must just be lucky because our cats are so well behaved. But they when they want something they have no problem letting me know, they know I'll give In. I guess I'm old and tired😂🤣
My older cat yowls randomly. It’s hilarious and I do find myself laughing when she starts up 😂 I don’t give her treats or try to hold her though, so I’m not sure if my laughing is just as rewarding.
We are so well trained by our pets…even our tortoise knows how to get what he wants by being naughty. How sad is that? Two dogs, two cats, a chicken and a tortoise have our number🫤. Thank you for this wake-up call!
My cat does not enjoy me working at home. Because I'm not paying attention to him. I don't give Otis snacks but he definitely gets hugs and lap time when he gives me the cry from the depths of his soul! I am guilty!
I retired last October. My male cat Jiji does something similar to what Momo does, yowling as he walks down the hall, only he's usually dragging a piece of clothing or a small towel down the hall as he does. This looks like it should help. Thanks!!
Mine trained me to pet and brush him while he eats. If I don't, he snarfs & barfs. I really enjoy this grooming time with him, and his fur is so silky and shiny that even his vets are impressed by it.
Jackson Galaxy, I just want to say a huge thank you. My fiance and I are adopting 2 stray cats soon.We are getting Sarabi the mom and Ginger her baby home tomorrow. I am so excited and have been preparing (mostly shopping lol) so much trying to welcome them to our home. We have never had cats before and the shelter did told us one of the strays is afraid of human and might take a lot of time to warm up to us and that we might never be able to pet her. This worries me so much. I don’t mind that we might never be able to pet her but I would hate to see if she can’t get used to life with us. I binged your videos to try and prepare myself as much as I can. And though I still have no idea what’s going to happen, I now understand so much more about cats and I feel as prepared as I can be. I am so excited to see them tomorrow! Thank you!
@@tee3219 I think the kitten helped her just as much! Kitten naturally warmed up to humans very easily and it's getting more confident in our home every day! This help mom to relax a little and explore the space as well! She's still skittish around human. She stares, hisses and extend her claws if we get too close (for some reason more often in the morning). But she is improving at, I think, a great pace! Hopefully, she can relax and fully be integrated into her forever home soon.
I am a simple Belgian, I see a fellow Belgian with cats, I hit like 🤷🏻♀️ thanks for the vid, Ann and Jackson! Working from home and I've a fiddle feline at home as well (4 am is his preferred yoooooooooowl time, his brother and sister sleep through it, fortunately) 😬
@Sweetly Dark Books Mine also tends to open cabinets just for the sake of opening them. Mostly the bottom ones because theyre the easiest to reach. So sometimes I come home to all the cabinet doors open and him tucked away in the higher one. Lol.
I have a cat that loves opening doors and drawers. Just opening them, even some that are really heavy and require a lot of work to open, and then leaves. Often his brother comes and gets into the opened pantry or drawer. Maybe that second cat has trained the first one to do all the work for him 😁
Hi Jackson ! I followed your How to play with your cat video, and it has really improved playtime, I never realized how wrong I was getting it and sometimes wouldnt feed him after playtime if It wasnt dinner time yet, but now I do he seems so much happier !
Our cat's favorite toys are Q-tips and she does that yowl when she at the bottom of the stairs, playing with them and kicking the rug with her hind legs and tearing the rug apart. She does it like she is in her happy place, killing her Q-tips. We find them often under the rug, as if she buried her kill. It's really adorable.

Jackson- I set up a storage crate so young Lily (a blue tortie) could jump from the bed to the window, where I added a catway board to the sill, and jump to a nap basket on top of a storage crate stack. She is such a good jumper now, that she greets me when I come home by leaping to my shoulder and nuzzling both cheeks. (is she French?) Thank you for your advice- she's my first indoor cat (I couldn't face having another cat killed by a dog) and I never knew I could be this close to a cat.
It sounds like something young children do... Play up, and get your attention, you respond, they get what they want. So ignoring it, means they aren't playing you... Totally makes sense. It's why I call mine children in fur coats. Cool tips Jackson.
Thank you for this sir! Honestly my husband and I were struggling with this problem with our cat where she does bad things we yell at her and she just goes and does it a seconds later.
I work from home too. My cat howls sometimes when I’m in my office with the door closed. I have a white noise machine so she doesn’t bother my clients with her pathetic howls. But I just tell her when she does that I say Wait or I ignore her. I have a routine with her with food and play and now she knows when I’m off work. She is at the door and we play right away. She brings her toys to the door. I give her cat TV to keep her distracted. And lots of toys. I have toys for her to with. She loves cat puzzles that I give her as well. It keeps her busy snd happy. And she knows our days rhythm that I keep pretty much to an exact science. It keeps her so happy snd out of mischief.
After watching this, I realized that my husband was right and one of our cats has me wrapped around his little paw. I hate it when he’s right. 😂 I’m going to have to re-watch this and start implementing the tips! 👍
My cat just runs around doing this - he doesn't always want anything. He does have me trained in the mornings tho to let him out. These two are very much like my two - the laid-back black kitty (who's also older) and the bratty teen b&w. Unfortunately, he can't just be loose at night because of the dog.
Jackson Galaxy is not just the c Cat Daddy, hey is the cats meow, by this I mean is teachings of all that he has learned about cat the way in which he teaches us the things we're doing wrong or right, is whith a good sense of humor ( this the reason he has the ability to laugh at himself); He also qualifies for excellence in acting dress, in his own style which is cool! Cool cat dude is that! Thank you for all you do, thank you for all you share with us, and thank you for all the learning and teaching experience!

I have 4 Savannah's (F3) cats. They really challenge you. Extremely smart and resourceful. Bad behavior. Such as demolishing things. They know you respond to that. It's for Savannah's extra attention, they always want more attention and play. In two hours of play they are not tired. Savannah cat are so active, but always loyal and friendly
FYI, cats pawing at cabinets isn't necessarily for food. i've never kept cat treats stored in my cabinets, but i have a cat who will try to get inside by kitchen and bathroom cabinets anyway when he's excited and bored. for him, it's a forbidden, novel place to explore, and he likes being inside small, cozy spaces. (and as someone mentioned in another comment, if he makes enough noise trying to open the doors, he knows i'll come to give him attention, which reinforces the behavior.) i have to be careful closing my dresser drawers, because sometimes he'll hide inside those, too.
This was very helpful - I got a cat during COVID (not on impulse!) and I think in the early days I was so keen to meet her needs (violin) that she sort of calls the shots now by just sitting under my chair and staring with a rumble every now and then. 95% of the time I'm happy to take a break and play but as you said, eventually we're going back to work and she'll be really confused and abandoned :(
Mr Stripes, my childhood cat, had Grandma absolutely whipped whenever she would visit us for 3-4 days, usually a long weekend. We kept the cat treats in this one pantry, there were claw marks on the door where he'd try to break in. He'd pace, meow, try to get us to open that door to feed him a treat, but we just generally ignored him unless it was bed time and we had to lock him into his layer, the rec room and garage. He knew that time of night, knew he was getting a treat, knew the ritual of getting locked up. He really didn't pester us cause we ignored him, but when Grandma came around, she sat in the den watching TV or reading most of the day, that cat would howl at the pantry, she'd swear at the cat, feed him a treat every 20 minutes to get him to shut up, then he'd howl again at the pantry for a treat, she'd get up, feed him another treat, swear at him. Cat had Grandma trained, that was the ONLY person he'd howl at the pantry for treats lol. Didn't see her for 4-6 months, within 30 minutes of her in the house he'd start howling by the pantry for a treat.
Thanks for the helpful information and fun videos.🙂 My best, most persistent violin player is Mimi; Momma kitty and Sweetie and her brother are tied for 2nd place (and now of course, the kittens have started doing it before breakfast.)
My cats used to meow urgently at my bedroom door, over and over again. Ignoring it didn't work, so what I would do is open it, say hello, and then close it again. They learned pretty quick that meowing would not get them in here. (I can't let them in here because they get up to trouble. Always.)

I do this all the time. Butterscotch is my leader lol. He looks at me with those pleading eyes and I melt. I wake up early in morning to give him whatever he wants and play with him whenever he wants. I’m not strong enough to tell him no (well at least follow thru with the word no)

I'm having trouble resisting because he's getting old and frail, and the junior miss teenage kitten pesters him. The extra chair or place to curl up is just an idea to try. )
@@benw9949 Its actually not my chair but my spot on the bed which is only a twin so i have no where else to sit, and she has a nice pillow right next to me but prefers my pillow or my spot lmao. Its just the moment I get up I have to put something there or she'll steal the spot. I just cave and give her treats, she never bothered with treats when she was young so she can have them now. She also finds her ways to crawl onto my lap tho she prefers even closer like on my chest. She puts her paws on my right arm and basically just keeps them on me as I continue to type and work on my laptop lol. Pandemic hasnt helped the neediness, now if I just leave my room to go to the kitchen shell yowl for me.

I recommend looking up a JG video and finding small ways to help her gain some independence so you can leave the house for essential errands and likely even return to work.
What he said in this video ab "enriching environment"--giving her other favorable places to play, hide, perch--may be a good place to start.
Love it!
I'm right there with you. It's a journey. Mine is trying to bond with my phone. Hard to watch Jackson with a calico head in the way
I have one like that. She wants to be in my lap 24/7. When I get up, she'll jump onto my back and perch on my shoulders if I'm standing still. It's gotten a tiny bit better since she's been spayed.
The production value on these videos has increased a lot - kudos to Jackson's team!
I'm watching this shaking my head at my cat because this is exactly how he trained me to give him treats..............
Theo knows that I will let him onto the front porch whenever he asks, so he will go to the door to get me out off the couch, Once I'm up, he runs into the kitchen for treats.
My cat does this when he’s bored😭😭 I also work from home so he seems to think I’m available to play alllll day because I do sometimes stop to play with him🥺
Same
Whenever my cat hear my mobile or any other sounds from my social , He's runnig right away to me.
Same
yup...
As soon as my cat hears me reach for my phone in the morning he knows I'm awake and comes running
Oops 😬 😅
Same and love it😻
LOL 😹
That is literally my goal right now with my kittens!😅❤
Wow. Mo mo is my cat. Verbatim. Same yowl, same pawing. Same WFH situation....Which means same solution! Buttons to the yowl, silence is gold. Btw She now does the silent stare... hoping Ill reward.
Maybe it's a Momo thing?
Thank you for the flashing light warning! I have photosensitive migraine (triggered by flashing lights) and I really appreciate it. I scrolled the page so I can listen to the video without watching it. A+!
I could listen to this man talk about cats forever! lol
i recently got a cat, and the previous owners said she will usually hide for days in a new environment. with us, she just hid for 20 minutes and i could even pet her at the first day. your videos taught me a lot of knowledge and it's going great !
Nina sometimes comes into the kitchen when I have hot pans/flames going. I used to throw a treat for her to chase to get her out...until she started being underfoot A LOT more. Then I realised I'd basically been rewarding her for bothering me...
Jackson, I adopted a kitten about a month ago and your videos have been a lifesaver! Me and my kitten have established pretty good routine thanks to your advice
My god!!! I can’t tell you how much your videos have helped me I’m 23 and a first time cat owner I got a 3 month old kitten from the shelter where I live at, she is the sweetest thing so thank god she has been patient with me Cuz I have been doing so many things wrong!!
My naughty Siamese needs Jackson's training in his life!
Mine is getting that training 🤣 since day one in my life. When I ask my hub to stop doing smth because training he answers: yes Jackson 🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅
That sounds so adorable!
Thank you so much for including a flash warning! It very much helps to know to avoid looking at the screen
Epilepsy?
@@kitchenboy69 Not quite. Photosensitivity can cause many different responses. Thankfully my Photosensitivity issues are not seizure related, but migraine. Flashing lights or lots of color tend to give me migraines and trigger a lot of neurological issues (slurring speech, loss of coordination, inability to process thoughts)
@@tristanyoung7646 ahhhh ok. I understand. Migraines can be debilitating I'm sorry that you have to experience that. : /. Thanks for sharing!
She has done it less ever since we stopped doing things that reinforced the behavior, and made sure to include more structured/scheduled play times.
ahhh yes.. love.. love.. love..! your guidence is always educational and so appreciated!
I just adopted 2 female cats from a friend who's owner died of Covid. I've had them for 4 months now. Chloe has a habit of licking plastic bags. I use them as wastebasket liners and she chews and licks on the ends. She even dragged one out of the wastebasket and ran off with it.
Mine also love to lick plasticnags
Maybe try to rub the plastic bags with lemons/lemon juice? I'm sure they'll stop when that flavour hits them and they'll associate the bin with lemon taste
You may want to get a trash can with a lid. Some have a way to open them with your foot.
Thanks for adopting those babies❣ I can't imagine what would ever happen to my little boy if something would happen to me 😕
Buy some small trashcan liners and see if it makes a difference.
The other day someone asked me what my favorite part of the week was. I said "When Jackson uploads a new video!" 😻
Lol that’s amazing
We trained our cat to poof up like Halloween kitty to get treats. It’s hilarious.
😂
Right on, Jackson! My little cat face went through this phase and I took the steps that you recommend in this video and it nipped it in the bud. Thanks! 👍
this came at the right time bc i’ve been struggling with this with my kitty Biscuit 😢 the one behavior that stresses and irritates me more than anything else is excessive noise/MEOWING so this is much needed rn
Shoot...similar to my cat’s problems....thank you Jackson🥺you are my savior!
Love the tshirt. My coffee cup reads "I am silently correcting your grammar".
I have recently adopted a kitten and recently found this channel. Your videos have been really helpful. Thank you so much.
Ahaaha I LIVE for these videos. Thank you, @JacksonGalaxy! Cat Daddy. ❤
My older cat yowls randomly. It’s hilarious and I do find myself laughing when she starts up 😂 I don’t give her treats or try to hold her though, so I’m not sure if my laughing is just as rewarding.
Get her a senior blood test to see if she has hyperthyroid and/or kidney disease
Thanks!!
Great advice! Thanks Jackson!
Mine trained me to pet and brush him while he eats. If I don't, he snarfs & barfs. I really enjoy this grooming time with him, and his fur is so silky and shiny that even his vets are impressed by it.
My cat: meows, grazes his butt against my face, rubs his sides against me, looks at me...
Me: awww how cute... here’s some food for you.
Exactly. Now mine are fat.

Thank you!
You hv prepared well 👍🏾
Also adopting the mom was wise--she'll help kitty to settle in.
Thank you Jackson ❣️ My baby will get her own puzzle toy thanks to your advice ☺️
I love all your different cat themed t-shirts! I bet you have stacks and stacks of folded collected cat shirts!
Yikes! Check out his video on how to make your cat stop night time meowing.
Oh wow, this was the first time ever I was watching a video where the ad was from the person I was watching. 😱 It’s a sign, I must buy!
I feel bad that most people ignore and think that rewarding your cat for bad behavior is good
Love that she named her cat Momo, always appreciate fellow avatar fans
Could be a creamheroes fan
My cat always tries to get into the cabinets. Regardless of what's in there. His favorite ones are the one with my pans and the one with paper towels.
Same! My cat just likes pushing our pots and pans out of our cabinets! 😂
@Sweetly Dark Books Mine also tends to open cabinets just for the sake of opening them. Mostly the bottom ones because theyre the easiest to reach. So sometimes I come home to all the cabinet doors open and him tucked away in the higher one. Lol.
@@xKittenKissesx Maybe they're being noisy to get your attention. Lol.
I have a cat that loves opening doors and drawers. Just opening them, even some that are really heavy and require a lot of work to open, and then leaves. Often his brother comes and gets into the opened pantry or drawer. Maybe that second cat has trained the first one to do all the work for him 😁
@@stephanebessette6471 Clever boys!
9:38 I have this exact puzzle toy for my cat Sherlock. I feed his dry food in there all the time so he doesn’t snarf and barf. 10/10.
Thanks for the tips Jackson!👍😉
Love your videos Jackson!! Can you do a video about how to help a wallflower cat eat more than once a day? Any advice about wallflowers would be very helpful to me!
I had a crumpled up paper and we played kickball many times! She plays herself but at times we toss back & forth and We Have a Blast! 😁She tirs out and takes a siesta! Always sleeps through the night because I keep her occupied alone or With Me! Love 💕😁Joy & Fun!
At the end of the video, "please subscribe" section...
*_Jackson literally just MEOWED for our attention_*
It sounds like something young children do... Play up, and get your attention, you respond, they get what they want. So ignoring it, means they aren't playing you... Totally makes sense. It's why I call mine children in fur coats. Cool tips Jackson.
Thank you for this sir! Honestly my husband and I were struggling with this problem with our cat where she does bad things we yell at her and she just goes and does it a seconds later.
Daymn!We love cats so much.
Yes we do indeed do some crazy things in the name of cat love
After watching this, I realized that my husband was right and one of our cats has me wrapped around his little paw. I hate it when he’s right. 😂 I’m going to have to re-watch this and start implementing the tips! 👍
Nothing better than seeing a grown man wearing a kitty-bowed tee!!
My cat just runs around doing this - he doesn't always want anything. He does have me trained in the mornings tho to let him out. These two are very much like my two - the laid-back black kitty (who's also older) and the bratty teen b&w.
Unfortunately, he can't just be loose at night because of the dog.
The guy looks like he wants something to eat. Adorable and smart. Thankfully my cat can't access the fridge or pantry by himself.
I use child proof locks. Mine can access waaaaay to much!
Very useful video, thanks!!
Jackson Galaxy is not just the c
Cat Daddy, hey is the cats meow, by this I mean is teachings of all that he has learned about cat the way in which he teaches us the things we're doing wrong or right, is whith a good sense of humor ( this the reason he has the ability to laugh at himself); He also qualifies for excellence in acting dress, in his own style which is cool! But everything he shares with us is from experience, whether it be good experience in his lifetime or not so good experience! Jackson Galaxy seems to be a down to earth truthful cat dude! Cool cat dude is that! Thank you for all you do, thank you for all you share with us, and thank you for all the learning and teaching experience!
We have treat times at my house. 3x a day. She likes them placed in certain places and I add a You find/work for It! I change it up
Oh dear...apparently we've trained our 17 yr old cat to cry at the door for outdoor walks...and now our 14 yr old has started to copy his behaviour...but their voices are so cute ^^
Just the video I needed to see today! TY Jackson!
Love your videos, and I think your editing is superb! Great advice all the time. Thank you!
Jackson I love all your videos and your channel because my cat is really mischievous and yours videos really help with everything also lol to all the jokes u make in episodes and these lessons.
😆 love your cartoons within your videos😂 ....and I'm definitely being trained by my Korat as well😒
I have 4 Savannah's (F3) cats. They really challenge you. Extremely smart and resourceful. Bad behavior. Such as demolishing things. They know you respond to that. It's for Savannah's extra attention, they always want more attention and play. In two hours of play they are not tired. Savannah cat are so active, but always loyal and friendly
Always such helpful info! Thank you🙏
FYI, cats pawing at cabinets isn't necessarily for food. i've never kept cat treats stored in my cabinets, but i have a cat who will try to get inside by kitchen and bathroom cabinets anyway when he's excited and bored. for him, it's a forbidden, novel place to explore, and he likes being inside small, cozy spaces. (and as someone mentioned in another comment, if he makes enough noise trying to open the doors, he knows i'll come to give him attention, which reinforces the behavior.)
i have to be careful closing my dresser drawers, because sometimes he'll hide inside those, too.
Always.)
JG: "I'm judging you"
Also JG: "peace and love"
hello Jackson ! can you please make a video about how is it ok or not to leave your cat alone when you're on holidays ? I've met several people who told me they just left their cat ( it's a cat ! they can survive like this! )alone with enough food/water, and how their cat behavior might have changed afterwards. It's maybe for 3 days but someone told me 3 weeks !!! i feel in my stomach that's not ok ! thanks for your videoooos, bisous from France !
I’ve heard Jackson tell us that it is not ok to leave your cat alone with a bowl of food and water. They might survive but their personalities will change and there will lose trust in you. I damaged their minds as well as your relationship with your pet. They need contact with humans
Funny how you say to reward Momo for silence and looking at you- my cat sits and stares at me when he wants something and it drives me crazy lol
My cat Fang does that when he gets into his bed and does the nasty to his bed. Yes he humps his bed and yowls. I just laugh at him imagining the fantasy going on in his head. Jackson you are my CAT Daddy! Your videos are priceless!
Jackson, could you do a video on kittens soon. Kitten season is upon us. I’d love more info on settling kittens in, how often do I feed them? Do they need food on demand while kittens? And what do you think of bells?
For info on kitties, you might want to check out the Kitten Lady on RUclips. She has a lot of videos for kitten care and she's collaborated with Jackson during his Cat Camp.
I do this all the time. Butterscotch is my leader lol.
He looks at me with those pleading eyes and I melt.
I wake up early in morning to give him whatever he wants and play with him whenever he wants. I’m not strong enough to tell him no (well at least follow thru with the word no)
