- Eurovision Blogger, Alesia Michelle is back with another reaction video and today she is transporting to Finland and reacting to Saara Aalto. "Monsters" is the winning Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu entry.
Will Finland make it to the final at the Eurovision Song Contest? Is Saara Aalto going to be able to live up to the hype that surrounds her? Alesia Michelle breaks it down.

Alesia, go get hired by the Finnish team as a stylist. I guess they'll change it up for Eurovision, but they gotta do it right. This is not that type of song where you just put flashy colors and you're done. Saara's style is a little popsy/candy/weird so she'll wear anything, but they need to have a serious discussion about that. Cause if this side of the package gets sloppy, the performance will hurt. Badly.

I think Finland could do well this year of Eurovision. the song is strong and she got good voice for it. Finally, We could see Finland in the final I hope. ：-）
Many people are complaining about her vocals and the staging. I have no problems with it. Saara didn't hit all the notes in the same way like in the studio version, but somehow I like it this way as well. The costume suits the theme and the staging. It met my expectations and I can only say BRAVO! Can you please react to Crotian song?
I liked the choreography and the flags, but if they go with the red and black like her Lithuanian performance and keep the last two choruses. Those notes! That would be the best combination of her performances.
It is an ok song. Will struggle for the final I think. But I love that she is an relationship with a girl :D

Camera working by Yle was awful, she looks like a rap star and the audience was awful if you compared this to Eesti Laul or Melodifestivalen there people dance here audience looked that they didn't even wanted to be there.

If she keeps this ridiculous outfit fluorescent for the Eurovision I does not know if she will be first but at least she will have the price Barbara Dex (held the ugliest outfit).
First of all I don't like this song but I understand people who like it... The stage in UMK for me there was soo many things on the stage.. i mean too much.. in the begining it was mysterious (which I like) then she took off the black fabric and there there it all starts... less is more and I think they should make the stage simpler.. I would remove the stupid stage or whatever it is and her OUTFIT(!!!)... The dancers and flags are good and I see final for sure 😊

I'm Finnish... I hate this song, it's almost embarrassingly bad. Again with the monsters theme. And the styling... ugh. Our styling is always terrible for some reason. Domino was probably the better choice, song-wise. Camerawork was sloppy too, I agree. I KNOW YLE at least used to have camera talent working for them, I don't know if they've been hit by the government imposed budget cuts or something and fired all of their best.
Personally Swedish winner of MELfest (Dance You Off) is great! I think they have a chance of winning it this year.

I love Saara but her vocal interpretation was NOT on point. She sounded very nervous and shaky. Very disappointed.

I think the live performance is a bit dissapoonting. I mean, I really loved Monsters when it first came out but I found lots of details to criticize. I agree with you, the outfit is awful, I would love seeing her in a glamorous and fabulous dress. We know she can't dance so I prefer to see her doing some catwalk and let the dance routine to the dancers. The backing vocals sounds terrible. I mean, if Måns could reproduce the child voices in 2015, Saara should too. Finally she sounds out of tune in some parts, and I think that is consequence of the dancing. So... There is a looooot to improve before May.

I dont like her vocals.... i dont know, for me its not beautiful voice.... I think that she need to improved the vocals.... Instrumental, for some reason i feel the need of drums.... i dont know why.... but yes, its a song that will hold into the finals
