  • VanoRama RV's T-Rex and Spence's Boomer are the only other Falcon 190 4x4's I know of. These are neat vans but not one is the same... not even the two wheel drive versions are consistent.
    Mine is currently in a state of rehab and updates.
    It's our mobile ski hut/adventure mobile for my kid and I.
    It's got everything we need to boondock for a week or so and it stays warm/cool as needed. Only real problem is that it only gets about ten miles per Prius... at least it swallows them up whole and doesn't crap in "my" yard.

      Still got it... dead again...
      I painted and fixed up the interior. Installed a supercharger and promptly spit a piston into the oil pan.
      Got a 351W laying around?

      @@TheDrill65 Yeah so, I live in Oregon. It's getting back on the road by spring. I don't think you could register this thing in CA ever again. The supercharger is CARB legal and it does have cats but I don't think you can reimport to CA without going all the way back to stock first. The last time I smogged it in CA before I moved they scoffed at the fuel regulation A LOT... I don't think that the REF would let it fly if you got a referral.
      I'll make a new video of it after I get it back road worthy. The interior is much nicer and it should be a lot more fun with the new improved supercharged motor.

    Excellent! I just picked up a 1990 Fiesta, which is almost exactly like the Falcon. Do you know if the TTB allows less cutting of crossmember or what Agile does about that? That seems like one of the biggest issues.

      @samtech79  6 лет назад +1

      gizzy guzzi They build it up. Thing has a monster cross member with some uniballs for the beams all boxed in. The radius arms are really long too and equally heavy duty.

      Jose Gonzalez 4x4 vans carry with them a premium that may surprise you.
      If you are doing a conversation and do most or all of the work yourself, you can have one for less than 10k USD.

    Hope she is back on the road by now. Did you consider Ujoint doing the conversion and do you think your Agile front setup is as stout as his? Just courious, what other work was it that you requested that was included that took the cost up? I have a 99 M19RD Coachmen that I want converted soon, so am interested in the two front axle style’s performance conclusions you may have.

      Nofear2trek I think the front end is plenty stout. It depends on what you want to do. TTb handles better in my opinion. Straight axles are stronger and do better trying to crawl but the TTB is just lively and mobs over desert roads faster and more forgiving. It's much less punishing to drive than a straight axle.
      My van is a tank full of old, tired cabinetry so I can tell when the ride gets too roughed out.

      Thanks for your feedback on TTB vs. straight axles up front.
      Agile is converting mine now and expect them to finish it early August.
      Keep updating us on your progress.
