Wow, super impressive guide. I love how much quality info you dish out in such a short time. A+! Subscribed. Here's a tip for you in return. It's a little tricky to explain so bear with me. I used to set my sensitivity the same way (higher horizontal, lower vertical) because I figured turning left and right is more important, and having less vertical would make it easier to precise aim headshots. Also aiming at flying targets or targets high up aren't as common. Then I learned something that improved my accuracy: not having synched vertical and horizontal sensitivity interferes with diagonal aiming. When they're synched, it's smooth when doing a rotation of the analog stick. When they're not synched, it goes fast left, slower up left, slow up, faster up right, fast right. You probably don't even notice this, I didn't. My brain had gotten used to it and "auto adjusted" for the discrepancy. When I tried out synched sensitivity, at first it felt way too fast to aim up, but after a few days my brain adjusted, and then I realized how much easier it was to aim at people up ramps, on stairs, shooting down from high ground...ect, especially people at a diagonal from me. I'm guessing when I didn't have to compensate for the change in sensitivity, it has more brain power to calculate precise aiming. Lots of people I've told this to try it out and after they adjust they agree that their aim has improved. I'd give it a try for a bit, and see if it helps you. Remember, at first it will feel uncomfortable because your brain is still auto compensating for the uneven sensitivity, but once it does, headshot city. The best place to test out your diagonal aiming is with Ana bots on Eisenwald or whatever it's called, past the first point on that giant ramp up. Try it first with your settings and see how many headshots you can land, then after your brain adjusts to synched settings try it again and enjoy your new precision. On flat surfaces like where you demonstrated the Ana bots, it doesn't matter, but so many places in the game have uneven ground, so this really helps in those situation. Whew, takes forever to explain. I'm copypasting this for the next person lol
Wow, that's what I called a solid explanation! I don't even think about that, thank you for that advice! I truly understand how hard is to get used to new adjustments, your brain and thumbs just don't work in first couple of days. But seriously, thank you, I will definitely try it out.
For all characters, I use the same too. At first I used different for people that need less sensitivity/more, but now I just keep it the same because I think it helps your brain synch to it. This helped my aiming improve. I also do about a half hour of Ana bots a day, but now that I see how to properly train (only take shots you know will land, never miss), hopefully I'll benefit more from the training. I see the reasoning behind it (gets your brain used to always landing shots, then you slowly built speed until eventually you're a 100% headhsot god that shoots at normal speed).
finally a tutorial that goes so in depth with not only aiming but going as far as control settings and preferences. I've looked at your hanzo and genji vds previously and I had no idea what to change my sensitivity to nor did I even know about dual-zone! So thank you very much for the tips and I look forward to more tutorial videos!
Oh I'm so sad this Channel doesn't upload anymore, the videos really have a+ quality, it's not just "set your sensitivity to 100 and you're a pro player like and subscribe for more videos" this is a really helpful guide, thank you
RadioactiveOW lol, i think i've actually seen that one, but you really deserve more attention since most other OW youtubers are pc and never help us peeps on ps4 and xbox1, but if you ever need a test subject for any future guide or something i can be one
Dude this was so fucking helpful, to be honest I never knew combat roll refilled your ammo, I'd be using that shot, flash, fan, roll, fan combo as often as possible
What buttons do you use for mccree for jumping/abilities etc? Because in close range combat I still want to be able to jump around and be a harder target
dipswisher Thnx! Horizontal for quick turns, very good against enemies like Tracer. I didn't raise vertical because it would be harder to aim on jumping targets in long range like Pharah or Genji (at least for me), but I will try to raise it to the same as horizontal in future.
I'm a McCree main (200 Hours) and I prefer the Exponential Ramp because flick shotting is way easier than tracking. But I guess it depends on how good you are at aiming.
Nice video dude. Ii would be great if you can do a little detailed video about the aim technique the duel wild and the other one. I don't understand the difference. You can also just reply with a small explanation if it's ok
ahmed mustafa Thanks, man! I will do video guide about aiming in the future. Ok, the thing about dual-zone is your aim(reticle) becomes heavier, if you are not moving thumbsticks too much the reticle won't move very fast (it feels like you have low sensitivity), but if you move them right to the edge you will turn super fast (like you have high sensitivity). So, basically with dual-zone your aim acts like it has two sensitivities. When with exponential ramp your sens remains the same. Dual-zone is very good for precision shots and tracking, like Tracer, McCree, Genji. And for characters like Reinhardt or Winston it's better have exponential ramp. I hope it makes sense. GL
Which hereos should we go high sensitivty or low sens? (PS4) I'm playing with 10/8 sensitivity and im normal not good not bad (hell ain't ugly XD) You the BEST! :D Thx more videos PLS!
Jin Varrel Ok, I think almost all heroes should go with higher sens, not like super high, but higher than default at least. Cuz with new control type (dual-zone) we can afford that. Characters which should have much higher sens than the others in my opinion: Winston, Reinhardt, Genji, Tracer, Symmetra and mb Sombra. Thnx, appreciate the support! New guides will come soon.
Omid Keshtvarz Thnx. Yeah, 30 min is enough, though training itself isn't. It might sound obvious, but after training you should play as McCree persistently.
If you really want to get better, don't set 200% damage when training with Ana bots. When you hit them once they'll immediately start heading for the nearest healthpack, completely changing their movement pattern. This makes it much harder and thus more effective training. Might be a bit hard with a controller though idk.
What's your competitive SR? Good to know on dual zone. I will try it out. I already was running 75/75 Mcree with avg 45% accuracy. Hopefully that helps. Love 100/100 for Winston. It lets you jump straight up like Miro and play like key/mouse. Also Rhine is great for highest sens.
As a 3800 on Xbox I dot know if it is different on PS4 but I would never be able to handle 50 for horizontal. If your the same keep your sensitivity at 30 or something like that.
You forgot one tip my friend, this works for me but change your flash bang to L2 or LT on Xbox fan the hammer is useless plus this will increase your aim
hey man, tried it yesterday for about 20 mins, then i went to quickplay and had accurancy around 35% and sucked balls as hard as you can imagine :D. I am reaper, symmetra, zen main (which is easier to hit cause of the amount of ammo and quickness of release of his orbs). Would you say there is hope for me to learn it decently or even if there would be it would take me too much time? BTW. I am around 2900 currently (not sure if it helps you or not).
adasttSvk yeah man it's always worth practicing another hero. I'm a master level player who mains widow but suck on McCree. I'm working on him right now myself
Console aiming is just cancerous, No matter how much practice I feel like I can't improve. At the end of the day I feel useless and it leaves me salty as fuck. = my entire day is ruined. PC however is a different story....
Downfall Yeah, it might be really painful :( I remember my first shooter on console, that was awful days. But you get used to it, I don't know what I can advise you. I guess just more practice...or you can try mouse and keyboard on console, it's not that good as PC, but at least worth a try.
Wow, super impressive guide. I love how much quality info you dish out in such a short time. A+! Subscribed.

RadioactiveOW I will 2 I'll let u guys know if it worked for me
mikedimples so I keep both my vertical and horizontal at 47. What is yours? This is for all characters.
For all characters, I use the same too. At first I used different for people that need less sensitivity/more, but now I just keep it the same because I think it helps your brain synch to it. This helped my aiming improve. mikedimples and what's your sensitivity at? I recently did the same with 47 & 47 what about you?
finally a tutorial that goes so in depth with not only aiming but going as far as control settings and preferences. I've looked at your hanzo and genji vds previously and I had no idea what to change my sensitivity to nor did I even know about dual-zone! So thank you very much for the tips and I look forward to more tutorial videos!
This video has great advice. I followed every tip you gave (even the sensitivity settings) and I did better with McCree on qp than I've done in ages
Thank you, I got way better at mccree by following what this vid suggested us to do!
That's actually a very good McCree guide. Good job mate.
Oh I'm so sad this Channel doesn't upload anymore, the videos really have a+ quality, it's not just "set your sensitivity to 100 and you're a pro player like and subscribe for more videos" this is a really helpful guide, thank you
Nice, you deserve a lot more subscribers

Finally somebody noticed that XD
have you ever seen the one with lucios fingers? some animations get really glitched because of how fast :P
No, I haven't. I need to see this! And also there is another glitch when McCree's face stretches during roll in another highlight intro.
RadioactiveOW lol, i think i've actually seen that one, but you really deserve more attention since most other OW youtubers are pc and never help us peeps on ps4 and xbox1, but if you ever need a test subject for any future guide or something i can be one
Thank you, I'm trying my best. Really? That would be awesome! I will contact you if I need help :)

great vid dude
This really helped pls make more
Vip Gaming Glad it was helpful! New guide will come very soon!
Amazing video!
deelie00 Thank you! :)
This really helped thx
Great video, what lead you to raise your horizontal but not vertical sensitivity?
dipswisher Thnx! Horizontal for quick turns, very good against enemies like Tracer. I didn't raise vertical because it would be harder to aim on jumping targets in long range like Pharah or Genji (at least for me), but I will try to raise it to the same as horizontal in future.
finally a console guide
I'm a McCree main (200 Hours) and I prefer the Exponential Ramp because flick shotting is way easier than tracking. But I guess it depends on how good you are at aiming.
JokeBo Are you still using it ?
Thanks man now I'm a better MCcree.
For some reason I can't change to the new dual zone setting. The old aim system is so ingrained in me now
cazjuice That's totally fine! It's all about what you comfortable with:)
Hey there nice video, could you tell us what is your setting for the aim assist, aim smoothing and aim assist window? Thanks
Nice video dude. Ii would be great if you can do a little detailed video about the aim technique the duel wild and the other one. I don't understand the difference. You can also just reply with a small explanation if it's ok

Where do you go to get the Ana's on hard headshots only?
are the default buttons for mccree good or should i switch any of them? (ps4)
Great video.
javier castillo thnx!
Which hereos should we go high sensitivty or low sens? (PS4)
I'm playing with 10/8 sensitivity and im normal not good not bad (hell ain't ugly XD)
You the BEST! :D

Is thirty minutes a day good for each sessions? (Ana shooting)
P.s Amazing video
Omid Keshtvarz Thnx. Yeah, 30 min is enough, though training itself isn't. It might sound obvious, but after training you should play as McCree persistently.
I have 51% of precision, should I use exponential ramp or dual zone?
You forgot be korean.
xD I hope that in the future I could transmute my origin
I know this is pretty late but what is your controller setup for McCree?
how do you find the mode on consule to play ana bots like in your video.
Omg good guides
If you really want to get better, don't set 200% damage when training with Ana bots. When you hit them once they'll immediately start heading for the nearest healthpack, completely changing their movement pattern. This makes it much harder and thus more effective training. Might be a bit hard with a controller though idk.
that intro killed me :)
where are u man we need more videos
Quality video
Do you can do more videos pls :-)
Why do you play the route 66 music?
Can I use the dot instead?
What's your competitive SR? Good to know on dual zone. I will try it out. I already was running 75/75 Mcree with avg 45% accuracy. Hopefully that helps. Love 100/100 for Winston. It lets you jump straight up like Miro and play like key/mouse. Also Rhine is great for highest sens.
Marcus Boehler Damn, Miro was incredible! This guy is freaking machine! Now I got 2780, career high is 3080 :)
how to train flicks shots on console with controller?
As a 3800 on Xbox I dot know if it is different on PS4 but I would never be able to handle 50 for horizontal. If your the same keep your sensitivity at 30 or something like that.
You forgot one tip my friend, this works for me but change your flash bang to L2 or LT on Xbox fan the hammer is useless plus this will increase your aim
For road hogs I get near I use fan the hammer, stun and fan the hammer again
good video
I love you. Console players get so much shit.
Can you do one tutorial for Hanzo?
Yeah, sure! If Blizzard won't do any changes to Hanzo anytime soon (buffs or nerfs), I'll make it next week.
+RadioactiveOW thank you
Thanks
Glad it was helpful. Sorry for late response, I don't know but your comment was marked as a spam, I've noticed it just now.
RadioactiveOW the most helpful was the sensitivity changes. I aim much better now!
+owen west Nice! I hope you will aim even better. GL
in my opinion combat roll needs a buff, its waaaay too useful to have such a long cooldown
I just set both vertical and horizontal sensitivity to LITERALLY 100. Feel dizzy after playing a match lol.
how do you feel about the aim assist?
Why nvr hesitate to kill 1 guy with deadeye....Bcoz mcree is offense a few FANS HAMMER his ultimate ready..
good fucking video man!
Brian Vergara Thnx, man! Appreciate the support!

Awesome guide but most of these tips arent just for consoles Its should be Tips and tricks mcree
Do you have an Xbox one?
jake barnett Srry for late response. No, just PS4 :)
RadioactiveOW it's cool
For all you Destiny players: What if there were ghost bullets for Mcree? (Me = Salt)
Vigor Bro Me = Freaking desert of salt ;(
Vigor Bro bloom
I really hate mccres that "fan the hammer"
AwesomeMaster06 Same, Headshots are much better
0:02 looks like Luffy from One Piece lol
it's weird, i can aim really good with widow. BUT I SUCK WITH McCREE
I just use 100-100
another thing dont forget the aim assist too (Exclusive only for console players)
I'm done McCrees intros are totally fucked up
I like McCree lol
console tip get a xim 4
well console is for scrubs so it evens out xD
mike gallagher xim is a wannabe mouce and keyboard for console and some of us just want to play with friends
Console aiming is just cancerous, No matter how much practice I feel like I can't improve. At the end of the day I feel useless and it leaves me salty as fuck. = my entire day is ruined. PC however is a different story....

Pretty much just common sense when playing mcree...i dont see whats so special it lol no offense.
Dee Tee not everybody knows this and the sensitivity was really good help for me
