3:40 is it just me or is purple just too red ? flux feels like a marriage between scrabble and blokus. I think my gf will like it. would want to see a more varying board though.
Dan. how would you compare this game to Blokus. The 1/3 luck element with which token is drawn from the bag is an obvious difference, but do you have any other insights in that respect?
It is available on amazon now: www.amazon.com/Queen-Games-10221-Gl%C3%BCx-Board/dp/B01GX992G4/ref=sr_1_27?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1481118121&sr=1-27
Out of curiosity how would it play if you had dice instead of those cardboard pieces and rolled the die and used that number or the opposite number? Does that randomness mess with the pre-determined number of card board pieces?
Steve Friedly it could mess with the strategy since you know how many of reach you have and as it gets towards the end that makes a difference. Plus putting 24x4 dice in there would probably make it way too expensive.
Thanks Dan. Makes sense. We use Ingenious as a go to abstract for newer gamers at events we host. Looks like we need to add this to our library. Just checked our distributor and they don't even have it listed yet. Anyway, thanks again for the reply.

The saxophone is great!
Thanks David!

I haven't played Blokus but two of my friends have that played this, and still said this was one of the best abstracts they've played in a long time.
I really dislike Blokus and I think it's been outdone by many other games at this point. Glux all the way.
looks interesting but i guess its not available yet. hopefully before christmas
jpower2010 I would think it would be available I the next couple weeks.

Steve Friedly cool yes I realize it seems like it's unavailable right now but I assume it should be out soon.
