Kyle what a good cover !! The right hand in the three chords Chris makes A C A. Then B (Flat) D B (Flat). Then he returns A C A. And finally G C G. That's what Chris does in the left hand. On RUclips there are lives where luckily they point a little to the right hand. The left hand is almost all fine except that in the second I agreed he does only B (Flat) and D. Then everything is fine kyle

I know a different live version that has Chris do a variation for the intro where he rolls the chords or something, I think its during one of the live Mylo Xyloto tour editions but it could be during AHFOD as well? I'm not sure where I got it from but I do know how to play it. This version is still soooooo amazing and thank you so much for uploading it KB!

Also, I agree with one of the comments on the channel awhile back, you do much better lessons than HD piano. Simply, you give better quality without having to pay for 4/5 of the song usually. HD piano is great and I absolutely understand why they charge for the complete lesson, but I just enjoy sharing what Chris plays with everyone. I do make a small revenue off the videos, but it just goes back into making more :)

The album version is a little trickier because it's recorded in a weird key. Most of A Rush of Blood to the Head was recorded between keys if that makes sense. Chords should mostly be the same but you're going to want to play the fourth chord for a full measure.
Kyle a question. I follow you on Twitter, I don't know if you will remember but I said that I am from Argentina and well my English is quite basic I know some things but not others. I was watching a bit what you were uploading and I saw that you uploaded cry cry cry with the piano and Chris's voice. The same with the piano intro of champions of the world and a part of arabesque that is when the song already explodes there you can hear the piano. My question is how could you get those stems because I search the internet and none appear 🤔

Which performance was he at at 2:58? I've looked back through my history but cannot find it for the life of me! I love the sound in that version. Amazing video as always @Coldplaykb. I'm actually struggling to get my Kawai MP9000 to have the same "sound" on the second chord. If you take a look at my videos (albeit old) on my channel, you can probably hear what I'm on about. I'm playing the exact same chord you're playing. The UMC204HD helped out a lot to get the sound accurately recorded since you suggested.
I believe it's from the BBC radio 1 performance in 2014. I know it's during the Ghost Stories era for sure! And try changing the sound voicing to bright! That might help a bit :)

I really appreciate the help! Sure does bring the sound of the Kawai MP9000 to life with this song now :)
I can hear minor difference to the sound in the cover video,but the EQ is untouched,like I said,it is the key to the brightness😁,I'm sorry I'm so boring,but I can't help myself,please don't mind me😁.

@@Coldplaykb nice. This is a digital piano right? I'm doing some research on digital piano and digital keyboards to buy one. So far, I'm prone to buy digital piano. Have you got any recommendation for beginners? I'll definitely learn many coldplay songs from your videos hahah
@Arthur yep its digital :) This one is special because it was one of Chris Martin's first keyboards and it has the iconic classic Coldplay sound. If you are just beginning I don't recommend spending too much, just in case you don't end up sticking with it but some good brands are Yamaha, Roland, and of course Kawai. I personally love the feel of weighted keys. A lot of keyboards are plastic and feel cheap, so a nice waited wooden key is great.
