The listenability of this album is through the roof. It's smooth, weaves one track in to the next well and Jack Harlow's casual cadence on the soul tracks is an intimate invitation to his storytelling.
Blame On Me is easily the best track. What a complex story about generational cycles that continue because of guilt we feel. How his little brother probably feels towards him, how he feels towards his dad and his little brother and how his dad feels towards him. They all care for each other and recognize the pain they caused but it’s just hard to talk about so they don’t. Instead, they just tell each other to put the blame on me.
Yes this is what made me really enjoy rap. The story telling, the lessons, the real life, and most importantly the poetry. I love poetry. gang gang gang, and blame on me, really got me emotional.
This was a great improvement. A step to the right direction. Sure this isn’t an instant classic or a 10/10 album but this is the restart he needed. This album should be appreciated.
Its super interesting on how each person gets something different from a song. I took Gang Gang Gang as a song about people Jack is/was close with, that unfortunately had charges brought upon them. Prior to the charges Jack thought extremely high about them, but after the charges, Jack is now questioning himself on weather or not his Friends are the good people he knows, or the evil people others say they are. The song is a story of his struggle with this decision, without truly knowing what to believe, not what to do. Ultimately leaving him feeling terrible for either decision. However, I could be completely wrong, but the song made a discussion and interest, and that's is what matters most.
I think you nailed it, and people who say they don't like it because it makes them uncomfortable are failing to realize that's exactly the point. He successfully made people feel uncomfortable just as he does, so that literally means he did well.
This is one of the realest and most beautiful rap albums I’ve ever heard. Jack really showed us his true self and was rlly just spitting from his heart. 10/10 album right here
People hated on come home the kids miss you, but it was the base on which this album was built. His last album was a way to catch the ear and show that he could make a record full of “hits”. This album combines the vibe of that album with a true deep dive into how lyrical Jack can be. I think his next album will be one of the best albums of modern times, similar to 4 your eyes only, a combination of huge hits and thought provoking artistic works.
Word, he had to stay on top of the game long enough to make this, a quality project takes a lot of time. But if he took two years off to make this without dropping anything he could fall off
The last Jack album disappointed me and I've been listening to him since he came out and this is so nice and refreshing to see that he is so self-aware that he is able to self-reflect and evolve.
I donno why his previous album dint get much attention except one or two singles thats blew up on tiktok..Before this album I was just listening to that album to get a fresh vibe especially "poison" Give it another chance mate😊
Jack keeps on perfecting his craft with each record he does. Our man’s keeps making the 502 proud & he’s not even in his prime yet. This album was definitely him just on vibe mode & beat selection was on point!
Been a fan of Jack since I first heard him. And always love to see you react to his songs. He's a real one and I never doubt of his potencial and with his work rate he is definitly going to be one of the greatest. At least for me. And thank for always keeping it real. Love

This album and Confetti might be my favorites from him. This one feels so personal and I love when rap tells a story and is something I can relate to ❤
In "They Don't Love It" at 9:10 Jack says, "they ain't cut from the same thread like him," but he also means ain't cut from the same thread like hem, which is when you thread the sleeves or legs of pants to be shorter and fit better.
Yo be honest,No enhancers is my faverioute,It shows good things in life and also sounds like you driving a car at sunset but the sun ain’t in your eyes.
This album was definitely a breath of fresh air in Jack's catalogue. I did NOT expect Jack was gonna switch it up, cut the trendy passive confident rap hit make type music and come on this album and SPIT. This is definetly a growth and improvement from his last album. I was debating not even to listen to it but i got recommended Common Ground then got hooked and listened to the rest. Def a 9/10 for me. Jack is returning to his old form. No BS, just bars.

You gotta still be identifiable when changing your style. I should be able to know it’s YOU, and not think you biting somebody else style.
This is better than his last album though, it kinda reminds of Lil Nas X's album where he just kept it real with everything he's been going through and I love that kind of artist who's able to do that
I was born in 94 I’m 28 I remember no social media man. It was lit asf. We met up playin outside doin dumb sh*t. Only we used phones was to call up the Homies on our small brick lookin Nokias. Rodin bikes, building bonfires, playing 5-0 and gangs, riding to the next neighborhood for other friends and girls. Wrestling in the yard and fighting. No toys either. Just imagination. As we got older it was the same. Till Social Media grew bigger. During and after my space
The storytelling on this album one of the best of the current and last decade, he told his true story, the life around him, we barely get any of that these days. I honestly give it a 10/10 because it's something for foreign these days, it's the truest version of a hip-hop artist, he did that! Blame On Me really made me shed some tears my first few listens, it's so damn real, like so so so damn real.
29??? You're wise beyond your years man, this is the only react i've seen where you actually listened to what jack had to say instead of just tryna "gotcha" him on a line or some shit. Keep doing solid work man!
Ey bro no lie that was an amazing album 🔥 Blame On Me really spoke to me and really got me in my feelings about my own relationship with my brother and my dad. It’s crazy how much I can relate to that song. Overall the album is fire!!🔥🔥

Been loving dude since CONFETTI n Loose this shit sounds dope😎
jacks on top of his game now😮💨
The storytelling on this album one of the best of the current and last decade, he told his true story, the life around him, we barely get any of that these days.
Everybody know Jack, but they don't know Jack, man 🔥
Blame on me really hits hard
Ive been literally WAITING and checking for your reaction. YESIRR
Maybe im just biased to this type of rap, but this is easily his best album and one of the best produced albums of the last 3 years
Love ur remark about life being better before social media. I tell my grandkids they have no idea how great it used to be❤
