I'm 44 years old japanese. I've grown up with Led Zeppelin's music. And my parents both of them passed away. They really loved each other. I will remember them when mountain crumble to the sea.
Yes, this song is good with speaking about eternity. Another that gets to me even stronger is a song by Bread; "If." "If the world should stop revolving, spinning, slowing down to die, I'll spend the end with you, and when the world is through...then one by one, the stars will all go out. Then you and I will simply fly away." Brings tears every time.

This was my Aunt and Uncle's wedding song about 35 years ago. Introduced me to this song. Always remembered it and how great my Aunt and Uncle were together. Sadly lost her to MS ten years ago, so the song takes on even more meaning.

With all the hard rock elements to Led Zeppelin's music over the years.... they always had and maintained a strong sensitivity to their music and lyrics. My favorite band is Pink Floyd but to me Led Zeppelin is the most well-rounded bank I've ever heard.
