    A couple questions...would I be able to fit a small 6-pack cooler beneath the rack, or do you think that compartment is too small? Also, I don't really want the putter pocket so would be want all my discs on the rack. Are mid ranges and putters going to be too annoying to pull out easily? Thanks for the insight!

      I don't think so. There's about 4" of vertical clearance, and 7.5" horizontally. I barely fit the 2 utility pouches down there, with my Rode wireless mics and glasses case. I think it's best for storing misc items. All my video production stuff is in the 2 pouches, like extra GoPro batteries, portable USB battery, lens cleaners, etc.
      The two pockets on each side of the ZUCA cart are great. They can fit 3 putters each without 2 much effort.
      If everything is tight, it's harder to pull discs out of the very end of each side of the rack. Also midranges can be a little harder to pull out and push in if the fit is too tight. I currently have 5 fairways, 5 mids, 4 putters in the main compartment, and there's enough room to get things in and out without too much problem. I can get 15 discs in there if most are drivers and mids. When I used the Infinite Discs putter pocket I had 8 putters in that, and the main compartment had 5 mids, 5 fairways, and 5 distance drivers.

      @@andrelb3 I would buy the regular disc golf cart, then. They have a rack for that as well, and there's enough room at the bottom for at least some sort of case that can hold a 6-pack.

    You can fit the rack fully assembled into the bag, I just did it and it worked, took a little force but it's wasn't that hard.

    I didn't think about your camera stuff as well, seems like it'll a be nice load off your back as well as good storage. Shame about the assembly frustrations. I'm like this close to buying a jogging stroller off fb marketplace lol seems so nice

    • @NickCarroll

      Yeah the only hitch at all was the assembling of the disc golf cart rack. It _does_ give me extra room inside to store more items, but it took me a solid 15 minutes to assemble it. There has to be a better way to do it than I worked out, but then again this product needs to be redesigned to allow for easier construction.

    I’ve been looking at getting a cart recently. What are the downsides of using a cart over a bag?

    • @NickCarroll
      @NickCarroll  11 месяцев назад +1

      Mainly the pros are that it greatly minimizes strain on your back and shoulder you might get from a backpack, or even a heavy lunchbox style bag. The con, however, is that on some courses where the terrain is rough, you may have problems moving the cart around. Mind you, that's pretty rare. I've only played a handful of courses, out of 127 played, that were tough in some parts. I've yet to play a course where I'd prefer a backpack over a cart, though. Being in Houston the terrain isn't as uneven as it is in some of the mountain style courses, for example. I'd bring a small bag for those.

    If you got putter clips from flight towel would you be able to lower the power pocket down more So you can have putters hang from the top off the Handle and have the power pocket as well?

    • @NickCarroll
      @NickCarroll  3 года назад +1

      Yeah the only reason I haven't lowered this putter pocket is because the cup holders are in the rear of the chassis, so the putter pocket can't go any lower without obstructing them. Also I just ordered the umbrella holder, which will be just above the putter pocket, to hold my GoPro. I tested with Mike's umbrella holder and it's a perfect holster. Also eliminates the need to bring a tripod for solo challenges. 😁

      @@NickCarroll that’s what I was worried about is if I got this and lowered the putter pocket I wouldn’t be able to fit my hydro flask in it. Ohhh you should also get the “arundel Looney BIN CAGE BLK” water bottle holders. My drinks do not flop around since you can tighten the nob to hold a 40oz hydro down all the way to a small redbull they are great!

    Does the power pocket make you top heavy and more likely to fall over?

    • @NickCarroll
      @NickCarroll  3 года назад

      Great question! Yes, it does. My cart has fallen over a few times, and once my GoPro was in the umbrella holder and part of it's selfie stick broke with the impact. I was able to replace the bit part that broke, but I'm very conscious of this tipping over. In the future I'm probably going to mod this so the pocket is lower, and move the cupholders elsewhere.

      @@NickCarroll That power pocket really makes the smaller cart a via option for me! Thanks for your video!

    • @NickCarroll
      @NickCarroll  3 года назад +1

      @@TidesOnEarth It's really worth it! I could get away without it, or with a lesser pocket, but most of the other ones aren't much cheaper, and carry a lot less putters. This allows me to carry 8 drivers, 7 mids, 8 putters. All the putters are in the putter pocket. 23 discs, perfectly organized.

      @@NickCarroll does that rack make your discs slightly less accessible? You mentioned that you had to tilt your midranges to get them out.

    Not being able to properly slide out a midrange seems quite a design flaw to me

    • @NickCarroll
      @NickCarroll  3 года назад

      I agree. I feel like I could put 1-2 more discs in there if they fixed that. The drivers come out with no issue, even fully-vertical. I may consider using small-diameter mids in the future.
