I made my own cart with pvc pipe, a half inch metal rod for axle and some solid rubber wheels from amazon. It works great though I do not play in freezing temperatures with it as I believe the pvc might fail.
Yess appreciate this video. Looking to upgrade my basic bag and a cart seems like the best possible option. Good to see the ups and downs of cart life.
Nice review. I have the smallest version of the Zuca cart and love "most" everything about it. As you mentioned, you really only need a handful of discs depending on the course you are playing (5-10 at most). I have been carrying a Rogue Iron bag that holds about 8 discs for most of my rounds. I have just started using my Zuca cart again and I love not carrying a bag. The other advantage of the cart is I am less likely to pick up ticks. If I am constantly setting my bag down in the woods, it increases the odds I might pickup a tick on the bag and transfer to my clothes. Granted, when I throw off the fairway (happens too often), I can still pickup a tick there. I love that your channel is growing. I enjoy the content you produce. I appreciate you are very authentic and genuine. Keep up the great work.
I used to have the Zuca AT.It was a great cart the only problem I had was it tipped over so easily.I sold it and finally ordered a ridgeroller R3.Does it help my game?Absolutely not one bit lol!!!I have just allways wanted one and my tipping problems are no more so YOLO.Keep up the great work
I’ve had that exact Zuca for a year and I’ve perhaps had the cart tip twice, discs fall out twice, and I’ve never had the rails come loose. I suspect you may not have assembled it correctly. The internal frame took a bit of force to “snap” into place, and it hasn’t budged since. You can’t leave space in the top, so I keep that filled. I have the bottom shelf half full and padded with towels. The saddle bags and padded seat are a great addition for tournaments. I’ve added a putter pouch to the handle, and a PVC pipe for a brolly, and finally a golf umbrella holder that can hold an extended brolly for wet. Thoroughly recommend a Zuca - great for hacking around with. My only wish is for a better handle grip - I’m using a tennis racquet grip that works okay, but something more permanent would be good.
@@discgolfjustice That’s just weird then. My crossbar on the top shelf really snapped into place with a really loud click. I think the manual even mentioned it. No movement at all. I’d get back to Zuca Australia about that - you may have got a faulty one - these puppies aren’t cheap.
Ya that’s my biggest issue with it. I still think it’s a great cart tho. I’m looking into the transit because it has a wider wheel base. But ya you’re right, they ain’t cheap! 💯
I’ve been carrying a bag for about three years and I’m looking at getting one of these carts. Like you, I carry a lot of stuff for the course and seems like I carry all my buddies stuff too. I think definitely an elastic band over the front would help them from falling out and maybe get some kind of cloth sleeve you could put on the front metal bar to the back for those top disc to sit on…
I got the fenders from Zuca directly for $25 US - I really like the addition and wish it was that way by default. I got the saddle bags and like them but wish there were inserts to firm up the boxes they look off being floopy and everyone else is boxy
would you be able to do a short video on how this works on hills? I have a lot of course with at last a hole or two with elevation changes, and I was wondering how bad is the bag on these? How much of an incline or can you position it somehow easily so it doesn't tip over?
Modify a golf cart with a wider base therefore the center of gravity is distributed for the weight, you can buy a basic golf cart in Australia for about $150 or $80 US . That is what I did, you even get a comfortable seat and add a blue tooth speaker for you favorite music, use bicycle water bottle holders on the side of your cart for hydration. FYI
Got meself a Zuca AT last week. Got some solutions for your problems. I can 3D print you a snap in separator to keep your discs from flopping around. And for the bottle holder, get yourself an Arundel Looney Bin. Padded seat is also great. I also 3D printed some fenders but they have some issues.
@DiscGolf Justice so far so good. Not sure if I have a newer version but I'm finding my discs have a tight fit at the top - they aint falling out, even if I turn the cart horizontal. Waiting for my putter pouch to arrive now and it will be fully pimped.
Ya I find it’s a double edge sword with that cross bar. Either it has enough room for the discs to fall out, or the gap is really tight and which then makes it hard to get individual discs out of the top rack if it’s full. But I reckon if anyone will engineer a way to fix that, it’s you!
@@discgolfjustice Thanks for making all these videos. Just your putting tips alone helped me discover something that was killing my game and fix it. You saved me many strokes on the course. I appreciate you and pray that God blesses you with your cup overflowing.
I live in Colorado and have only used a bag. I never pack more than 15 discs, and I am always polite when I pass the overturned carts in my way. 👍🏼 #ruckit
@@discgolfjustice comfortably about 14-15 drivers, the putter pouch is a must have with the mini zuca. With the putter pouch it’s about 23-25 discs total.
Front loading sucks, the top loading carts are so much better. Ridge roller all the way.. The con is the cost, the Zuca options are much more affordable..

Ya ticks are dirty little buggars. Best to avoid them if possible 💯 thank you very much for those kind words Robert! I truly appreciate it! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Actually, this is a great presentation of demonstration purpose....nice work and thanks !
I use motorcycle bungy cargo nets. Plenty of holes around to attach too.

Ya that’s definitely a major issue with the Zuca. It tips over super easy and I find it very annoying 💯 those custom rollers look suck tho!

Lol I definitely assembled it correctly. But glad to hear you’ve had an even better experience with it than I have

I think the zucas are great! I would get the wider version that opens from the top if I could rechoose

I’ve seen a few people rock that set up and it looks pretty good to be honest! I definitely wish the Zuca had a wider wheel base
Pink discs for life
You know it! 💯 tryna get the whole bag pink eventually
You may be able to get some 3D printed plugs to put in those holes and keep the bars from moving up and down in the slot.
Ya I think that’s what I’m going to do a friend of mine says they have a 3D printer 💯
@@discgolfjustice ever find an STL for this?

Carts need to bring the discs higher. As a 6'8" man, it's not very fun reaching towards the ground 50+ times per round
Hahaha ya fair enough I guess I never thought about that because I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum hahahaha im only 5’6 😂

You in the front range or up in the mtns? If I lived in the front range, I could see owning a cart, buy it would useless at ant of the mtn courses
to solve your water bottle issue; look into a bicycle water bottle that fits the holder snug.
I’ve heard this is a good fix. I’ll have to get one on order! Cheers mate!
Let’s gooooo
Zuca gang
@@discgolfjustice I have the baby zuca lol
How many does that hold?
@@discgolfjustice comfortably about 14-15 drivers, the putter pouch is a must have with the mini zuca. With the putter pouch it’s about 23-25 discs total.
Ya that’s solid! Don’t really need any more discs than that haha
Your handle is not right. if it would be sideways, it would stop cart turning over much harder.

I just don’t like having to lift up my seat every time I want to grab a disc. I don’t seem to mind front loading
foot fault
Cart fault
@@discgolfjustice I've actually had that happen during a tournament, dude threw at his cart to stop his disc
😂😂😂😂 now that would’ve been a sight to see hahaha. I watched Hunter throw his whole bag in one them foundation video’s yesterday 😂
