Praise the Lord! After 20 months, Ezra is finally with us! His gotcha day was one of the most joyous, yet sad days for us. There was celebration and mourning that took place that day. We are eternally grateful for Ezra's birth mom, who made the bravest and most difficult decision to choose life for him. AND we are forever thankful for his foster family; their love and care for him since he was 2 months old. Our hearts are full!
We pray that Ezra will look back on this day, and know how much he is loved.
Thank you all for being with us on our adoption journey to bringing Ezra home!

Such an adorable addition to your beautiful family and the Mom's Korean is so cute😍 And oh my gosh, the foster mom is so thoughtful. Around the 6 minute mark, she's saying that since the baby wants to be picked up, it would be a good idea for the new dad to hold him, instead of her picking him up. She's packed all his clothes and innerwear based on how often he has accidents during the night. And later, she keeps trying to explain to the baby how she won't be coming along, but he'll be going with his new mom and dad now 😭

Thank you for translating. I can tell from the video how the baby is deeply loved but these words brought me tears. I cannot imagine how hard it must be for the foster mom to pack everything and say goodbye. May the lord bless her heart.
Korea takes so much better care of their orphans than China and because the kids get so attached since they live with a family being treated as a member of the family and being so bonded that it’s a much harder process grieving but it’s better to care for the child that do like China leaving them standing or laying in a crib all day. I get China probably has a much larger problem having so many orphans

It must be heart breaking for the foster parent but they know he will be in a good place! He’s so happy, hoping the best for your family.
It was definitely a heartwrenching day for them... I could feel a heavy sadness, but they handled the whole situation with such Grace and love. I adore them so much! & Thank you!

Oh. how I cried for those foster parents. I myself am single and I have a very big wish for children. I am also busy getting foster parent. but what will hurt that farewell ... what I was wondering, do you still have contact with the foster parents? what a very sweet, sweet people that is. you can see that they have come to love him very much ...

Yes, despite the feeling of letting him go, they think of HIM first and not themselves. They do it so he can grow up in a home knowing they will feel some pain when he goes to his new home.

Goodness that was tough. It's harder when the foster parents truly love the child. Ezra will have benefited so much from their love and care. He is with a lovely family, but this is tough on him and the foster parents. Hopefully they can see him on RUclips and meet them again some day. It will be good for him to know they are still there and are ok, they love him and it was difficult giving him up. It will validate him and his early life in Korea.
We hope to re-connect with them when we are allowed to in a year or so. :)
The foster parents could function so well as his grandparents/godparents. I hope they will visit him in the USA very soon.

I've heard it say that it is better for the child to cry for adoptive parents as it shows they can attach..
Ezra's foster parents are lovely and have given him love and security. You're so lucky they raised him to this point. He will be a wonderful addition to your family. He seems to know he belongs with you! Love from Fort Worth!
One of the very first prayer requests when we first started this process was for our child to be well-loved and cared for. The Lord is gracious to give us such wonderful foster parents!

His foster parents saying goodbye made me cry😭 I was adopted and will forever be grateful to my foster parents and to my adoptive mother. After she adopted me my mother did foster care for many years and saying goodbye to the children we cared for was always the hardest part. I'm so happy Ezra had such amazing foster parents and now has an amazing forever family. God bless you and your family with boundless love 💕

What wonderful and selfless people are the foster parents!! God bless them for what they have done, pouring their love into Ezra and being so brave when letting him go. They packed up a beautiful care package for him, his clothes and toys etc, so thoughtful. Bittersweet day for them. So humbling to watch them as their hearts were breaking in saying goodbye to him but knowing he will thrive with his forever family.

Prayers for the grief of the foster parents. They will feel this loss for ever. What a beautiful loving thing they did for this child and family!! God Bless them during this time. I had a foster child for over a year and it was so painful for him to leave. They will wake up thinking about him and go to sleep thinking about him. Prayers that they have relief knowing that he is with a family that loves him so much!

there are so many studies on the importance of a babies environment in the early stages. You guys got so lucky that your baby was nurtured in such a loving home until you were able to bring him home. Wow if only every adopted baby can have this kind of experience. wow 🙏🏽

My heart breaks every time for the foster parents. I cannot grasp how they do it. I think I would fall to pieces letting go of a little one I've cared for every day for months or even years; and to think they do this over and over. I can't imagine a more powerful example of unconditional, selfless love.

I don’t remember the last time I cried this hard at a RUclips video. This shows that heartbreaking part of adoption so beautifully. I was sobbing so hard when his foster parents were saying goodbye. It must’ve been so difficult for them, just looking at their faces. Seriously, how do you give your heart to a child and then watch him leave you forever? These are truly selfless and heroic people

There is so much love going on during your "gotcha day." I can tell that the foster Mom and Dad loved Ezra so much. I do believe he has a bit of their hearts with him now everyday. That's a very good thing. Love is what God and the life he gives is all about.

We are so wonderfully blessed to have Ezra as our son. He is a delight to us! Saying goodbye to the foster parents was overwhelmingly difficult, but we all knew it would have to happen at some point. We are praying for the grieving to happen as it should.❤

Oh my heart!!!! I have fallen in love with your beautiful family, your love and devotion to our precious Heavenly Father... I am an adoptive Mommy x2 ! This is so near and dear to my heart. God has called you and ypur family into such a precious journey and I feel truly honored and blessed tp have found your channel. Not only the joys but God has used your love for Him to remind me I am not alone. He is the author and maker of my journey and in Him, ALL things are possible. My Spirit truly bears witness with yours. This is one of the most beautiful stories.. You can feel our precious Lord in them. Isnt it amazing, we may not have carried our babies in our wombs for 9 months, but we certainly have carried them. In our hearts. And for years! We may not have gone through traditional labor but the labor has been very real, long, and hard. We may not have delivered our babies bit we absolutely went through the pains and joys of delivery. It is a journey others cant understand truly unless they have walked this path. We have found favor with our Heavenly Father to bless us and entrust us and allow us to be the Mommies and Daddies to the most precious and needy and deserving little ones. Adoption was created and ordained by God Himself. He was the first adoptive Father when He adopted us and made us joint heirs with His only Son. Thank you for sharing your journey but also your life. Your walk and encouragement .. God is using you to edify your brothers and sisters and Glorify Him. So excited to share more with you.. Be Blessed
