Jaitley asked how a person occupying a quasi judicial body can participates in politics. However, in his defence, Jaitley said that Katju's views on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the article amount to political participation. Comparing this interview with Arnab's interview with Nitish, Arnab was focussed on Nitish's contradictions and very forgiving. In this interview, he though few contradictions brought up and strongly replied by My Jaitley, Arnab brought in more wild hearsay arguments that had no standing and aptly replied to by Mr. Jaitley.
