Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray, in an exclusive interview with TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, says he is not supporting BJP, but supporting BJP's Prime Ministerial nominee Narendra Modi since he has proved his mettle in Gujarat. Raj Thackeray says he has no understanding with the BJP, further says he is not joining NDA, but has only a seat-sharing arrangement with it. Reacting to BJP Chief Rajnath Singh's comments that he is misleading voters, Raj Thackeray says BJP's campaign revolves around Modi and he doesn't pay attention to Rajnath's remarks. Raj says his support to Modi does not mean that he supports every statement made by him. Raj also opens up about his relation with his estranged cousin & Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray. I like his speaking abilities because they remind me of late balasaheb Thakeray but his party members are nothing but goons, also raj thakeray alternates his alliance too much, in 2014 he said he would implement gujurat model in Maharashtra but in 2019 (after gujurati vote in Mumbai went to shiv sena and bjp) he supported congress NCP. In 2015 he opposed the refinery project but now he supports the refinery project. He has potential but he needs to gain back people’s trust and make sure his party has good people and not goons
