The pny ssd 1t version is a amazing upgrade kinda expensive at $80 bucks... but it's a 1T SSD with pretty high speeds.. it's hard to beat... slower name brand or slower more popular brand ssd cost more... so why not go with a reliable pretty fast cheaper ssd same storage or more for way less??? Lol... I got those 1T pny ssd cards in two of my ps4 slims and they are considerably quicker than stock hdd.. and then I done a Samsung 2T SSD in my 3rd ps4 slim and it's a Lil faster but it's really hard to tell the diff. Now my ps4 pros I have m.2 inside and external and they are Def faster... lol not dramatically because of the bottle neck.. but that bottle neck is definitely being stressed to the limits lol..
Pny is pretty much cheaper than samsung evo or crucial mx500. Is there any problem such as crash/freeze/drop performance after you used it for 1 years?

how large does the usb flashdrive have to be for ps system update when changing to ssd ?
this file for instaliing i assume you mean. It file is 1k mb
The usb flashdrive it has to be at least 2GB because the ps4 FW is 1GB!!!

honestly i dont own Xbox so i cant test. But I am pretty sure all the option that can be used have the same type of ssd as the one in the video
