Check out this buzzling and consistently busy street in Ortigas, Philippines during weekdays but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the street was almost empty which is unusual to see on a Monday.
The Street or Avenue is called ADB Avenue and one of the most beautiful to walk to during office hours and you'll get to see those high rise buildings and some of the most popular high end shopping malls in the metro.

Ang ganda at malinis ang Makati. Di pa rin matapatan ng alin mang siyudad o lugar sa Maynila. Sinumang banyaga ay mamangha dahil di nila akalain na may ganito palang stunning na lugar sa Pinas. Sana ilagay kung anong kalye ang mga dinaanan. Hope this pandemic ends para makapasyal diyan. Mabuti at bukas pa ang Peninsula. Masarap ang breakfast diyan. Salamat sa video na ito. The Philippines is beautiful and modern, just the Makati and BGC zones. When going out of town, there are slums everywhere.
Thanks, I lived there for 9.5 years near the business district, I left the place last 2011 to come here to U.S., never been back since and seeing the place again looks like not much have changed. Those were the places I walked and hang out. Memories..

Kasi nanam in my 26 years living here in America anykind of news coming from Philippines local or international media, Footage of dirty and ugly side of the Philipines ang laging pinapakita.. I could say MAKATI should be the capital of the Philippines.
Capital cities should include sea and river gateways, hence old Manila were chosen by spanish conquistador Miguel Lopez De Legaspi as the spanish city of the nation during the bygone era.
Anyway, Makati and other 15 cluster cities including the city of Manila are part of the totality of the entire Metro/Mega-Manila.

Because it's an interesting story to tell. Marami namang movies that shows the better part of the country pero end of the day what attracts international film award bodies and critics are the dark stories in the streets of Manila.

Of course it is a business district and run by a one family , have you been to other low lying area of taguig and makati they have almost the same situation to manila .
di naman totally malinis dyan sa Makati, dun banda sa may RCBC daming nagyoyosi tapos di man lang maitapon sa tamang basurahan yung mga upos ng sigarilyo.

The government can only do so much in residential areas. Also, there's the tondominium plans which should at least resolve the housing problems.
