About duel 40, Snape vs Lockhart, you could have mentioned that this duel was also Harry's introduction to the Expelliarmus spell, which has serious ramifications for both the plot and the themes of Harry Potter as a whole. It also demonstrates the idea of Wizards squaring off against each other in a formal and honorable context, which is occasionally revisited later on.
It also showed everyone that Harry is a Parselmouth.

I think that my favourite duel was Harry vs Voldemort in the graveyard. It was emotional that Harry saw his parents, Cedric Bertha Jorkins, Frank.
This may sound strange, but I would actually place the Lockhart-Snape duel higher, not for the quality of the fight, but because it’s actually where Harry learns his most recognizable spell from Snape, Expelliarmus

This was a great video. I have got a video suggestion that you might want to consider. All of Voldermort's hocruxes ranked on their defences and how easy it was to destroy.
Video Idea: since you did sorting Percy Jackson characters into their Hogwarts houses, how about now maybe do a video of sorting Harry Potter/Fantastic Beast characters into their cabins (i.e. who their Godly parent would be if they were all halfbloods based on their personality or characteristics)
Great rundown. What if Hermiony had 'impero-ed' Dollahoff and the other deatheater in the Cafe (book 7) then commanded them to kill any deatheaters they met? This would ulimately lead to their deaths and leave Luppin alive. Also what if Andromeda joined the battle instead of Tonks, with Lupin's help surely a defeat for Bellatrix?
Hermione could, but I guess a member of the golden trio didn't want to cast an unforgivable curse, as she didn't want to stoop as low as the deach eaters (which is why Harry used 'expelliarmus' against his final duel with voldy) Also, it would be a little risky, incase Dolohov began fighting the imperius curse. Ron was supposed to be in the burrow, very ill, with spattergoit. But Dolohov saw Ron. If he fought the imperius curse (as seen twice in book 4), the death eaters would go after the weasleys.
Tonks was an Auror! I'm not sure Andromeda would have necessarily fared better unfortunately
Tbh the last one was also significant in that it actually stopped the killing curse without anything actually blocking, which is supposed to be impossible with Harry's scar being the only known exception up to that point

Great video as always! But I feel that you left out one duel from book 5, Sirius Black and Harry Potter vs Lucious Malloy and Bellatrix LeStrange. This was a very emotional duel as both Sirius and Harry saw the other as James and the history between these characters with Sirius and Bellatrix being cousins and Sirius running away from his family and Lucious and Harry with Lucius being behind the events in Harry’s second year and being Dobby’s former owner. And let’s not forget that Sirius loses his life to Bellatrix leaving Harry with losing another member of his family.
I think in the book the duel is a bit different and Harry against Lucius doesn't happen. I agree however that Sirius against Bellatrix should be on the list.

In the movie (Deathly Hallows: Part II), during the battle that was between Snape and McGonagall, I noticed that Snape deflected McGonagall's spells on the Carrows before flying out the window.
I feel like all of Harry’s and Draco’s fight should have been a bit higher since the hatred between these two bitter rivals was so strong up to point where they wanted to kill each other in book 📖 six and in the movie
I feel that the one in the second book with harry vs Draco should be higher up, because it is when Harry realized that he could speak parseltongue, and when everyone thought that harry was the heir of Slytherin, which makes it very important

It's actully amazing when you think about it. He was just 14, had a broken leg, a slashed up arm, had been tortured by the Cruciatus Curse, had just watched Cedric be murdered and the return of Voldemort himself and he faced Voldemort fully expecting to die.
The duel between Snape and Lockhart actually teaches Harry to use his favourite spell
Dumbledore vs Valdamourt is #1 imo. From the statues coming to life to the way Dumbledore was calmly talking throughout the fight was too sick
I was expecting the legendary duel to be the number 1. But when it was ranked number 2, I was so confused about what will be the number 1. Of course, I agree with your selection. As far as I am aware it was the only duel in which Harry actually defeated Voldemort. In all the other duels, Harry won because of the love protection or special behaviours of wands. When the two wands got connected, Voldemort was so panicked but Harry concentrated so hard to move the beads of light the other way and he won forcing Voldermort’s wand to regurgitate old spells. If the other way happened, Harry could not have escaped like that.

the other part of the James and snape duel is it demonstrates where the good guys ( james and serius and the crew) are actually bad boy jocks/cool kids in school bullies and the point that turned snape to the dark Lord. JK shows her advocation for and approval of the special bullies like, jocks or the cool club members, when in truth they are no better than the stated bad guys in the book series.

You’re missing a duel from the battle of Hogwarts. Percy and Fred vs Pius Thicknesse. They came out victorious, and it made Percy crack a joke for the first time in a while. Unfortunately, what followed was Fred’s tragic death at the hands of Augustus Rookwood, who blasted the wall behind them.

I litrally love how well written and amazing all the Harry Potter books are. I just can’t explain how much I appreciate them and I haven’t thought about Harry Potter for a while and then this video made me wanna re read all the books and rewatch all the movies. The best duel ever (in my opinion) was the Harry and Voldemort duel that resulted in Voldemorts death. It was just amazing how Harry absolutely destroyed Voldemort.

Thanks for yet another great video! I'm looking forward to finally seeing the duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald, once the Fantastic Beasts series come to and end. It's hard to rank it properly when we know so little about how it actually went down, but I believe it will be epic, considering the way it is still so highly praised so long after it happened.

I think with the duel between Snape and Lockhart, it impacted more of the story as it taught Harry the spell Expelliarmus, which he used for EVERYTHING. I don't think it should be higher on the list, just wanted to mention that it had a bigger impact indirectly than original thought.
EDIT: What I loved about Dumbledore and Harry's duels against Voldemort is that both of them called him Tom, a name he absolutely despises because it is so ordinary. They defeat him, not just through a physical duel but a mental duel as well.
Hi Morgan! I would love to see a video of your rankings of the most powerful witches and wizards. The seven books/movies, we know the name of the person, based on book smarts, street smarts, and magical power. We have to see them do a piece of magic on page.

Harry vs Voldemort in the Goblet of Fire is the best duel in the series. I watched the entire video, just to find out where it was ranked, and I couldn't agree more.
It is the CLIMAX of 'Harry Potter'. Books 1-3 are combating the vestiges/remnants of Voldemort. And 5-7 are combating Tom himself. The entirety of the 'Wizarding World' and Rowling's universe (however accidental it was) do not exist without this single interaction in Book 4. The Goblet of Fire is the glue that holds the story together...

This was a very good list.👍My only criticism is that you didn't put the duel of godrick and salazar in it. It shaped wizarding britain's history, and it was stated to be very epic.
