The Black Hills OHV/trail map is my puzzle guide; I try to put together a new BDR every year, piecing together cool roads and stops from orevious years and explorations. The two maps are free at many places.
Awesome, and beautiful views! I wish I could have met you while I was there! Would have been nice to ride with you! Maybe sometime we could meet up for a ride. I’m in Aurora, CO.
Instagram is the best way to get ahold of me @adventure_tomek I had quite a few people locally reach out to go riding, thinking of maybe doing a annual group ride in the area???
Excellent idea about going to Sturgis on the ADV bike. I just picked up my 1190 R a few weeks ago. It's torn apart in my garage waiting on some goodies. Sounds like I may want to do Sturgis next year on that and incorporate the TAT from NC. What was the name of the App you said you were using?
I did when I first got the bike. Problem with he rims on the 1190, they are super week. I actually damaged the front rim to the point where I can’t get it to seat. Ended up putting a tube in.
I was setup in downtown Sturgis during the rally. The rt is a total of 355 miles, possible to do in one loooong day. But plenty of great spots to camp along the way.
What tires %off/on did you use? I will be traveling 500mi to get to SD, I usually use E705s 80on 20off and I'm super comfortable with them. BDR SD recommends 40on 60off. I dont need to go fast off road and I plan for a lot of pavement with a bit of BDR what are your thoughts?
I was running the MotOz Tractionator GPS. Checkout the Tusk 2Track Adventure just put a set on my T7 and happy so far with both on/off road performance and they are only $210 a set
Enjoyed it man. Looked like you had a good time and good mix of terrane. Always fun splashing through puddles.
Section 1 was pretty good, but 2 in my option was much better.
Looks like a good mix of some short technical sections, and lots of fast gravel. Cool route.

Great to see the 1190 in its element. Do you air down the tires at all?
