- Last min decision to take the KTM 1190 Adventure R to Sturgis this year for the 2023 Rally. Having attended the last 2 years and riding all the famous paved roads in the area I hit the Black Hills BDR X sections 1 and 2. Enjoy the ride!

Was a cool shot there at the end of you riding pass the pond with it in video from the other side. Enjoyed it.
Thanks, I need to stop being lazy and get more of those kind shots haha
THANKS GOOD JOB. DOING IT SOON! YIKES
Nice! You will have a blast! Thanks for watching
Looks awesome
Man, that last bit on the two track looked like fun.
nice trails, I came back from Colorado a month ago, and I already want to go back and ride more trails. Big girl did good.
Unless you edited out several other falls, you and the bike did an amazing job in that mud. I just got back from doing the New Mexico BDR and did much worse on my GS 1200 than you in similarly muddy conditions. Though, I was handicapped a bit by my Trailmax Mission tires, which I've found are just awful in mud.
Those few sections were pretty bad, I was actually considering turning around.
I need to start checking out more BDRs, this is the one I have rode.
Thanks for watching!
@@AdventureTomek I would recommend New Mexico, but not in June or early July. That's their monsoon season, and a couple of sectios were impassible or virtually impassible b/c of mud. Several sections had had severe flash flooding in the week or two before we arrived, though the one good thing about that was it washed out some of the sandy sections.
Some pretty gnarly stuff there. Nice job.
Thanks for the visit
Just did that section a couple days ago. Was fun but that rocky desert was no joke. Still mud pits around and rutted out like hell.
Not gonna lie I was really worried about sliding into one of the mud pit/ruts and not being able to pull the bike out. Would probably be riding through some just to see if the MoOz GPS could push me out if I had a riding buddy.
@@AdventureTomek yea I fell in one, lucky I had my buddy with or else would have been hard to get the GS out.
these big bikes can be physically exhausting when things get slow/hot, especially multiple solo pickups. @10:45 was that an animal on right hill?
Looks to be a cow
