Thanks! We were in Paris in mid-November. If you could tell by the video, it was quite chilly and at times very rainy. If you go in November, you should expect colder and rainier weather. But the good thing is that it's less busy since it's the off-season for traveling.
Cafe Carette was great but expensive. The hot chocolate was amazing and the sandwich we ate was good too. It's just pretty expensive for what you're actually getting. But it's to be expected when you can see the Eiffel Tower from the cafe.
I’m not sure how you came to the conclusion that the cafes you visited are the “best”. Cafe Carette is a tourist trap and the other ones are unrecognizable (and I used to live in Paris).
Cafe Carette is definitely a tourist trap. The prices were outrageous honestly. Next time we go, we need a local to show us all the best places to visit.
enjoyed the vlog! What days were you in Paris? trying to plan ahead & get an idea of the weather during different months

@@SofieAndStephen my pleasure
Just checked on my Paris vlog and saw you on the recommendations list. Cute vlog and love your editing skills 👏 we even have the same music used haha
Omg thanks! I just checked out your Paris vlog -- great vlog as well! I guess we have the same taste in music ;)
Tip of Paris specialist. Buy your tickets online for the Catacombs. If not you are many hours (sometimes) standing in line. ;)
Great tip! We bought our tickets online and only had to wait 15-20 minutes in line.
@@SofieAndStephen I know people ( without ticket) 2,5 hours.
@@damiaanspatrick2050 That's way too long
Was Cafe Carrette worth the visit??

super expensive? yes if you go to fancy places
Yes, I believe we were definitely in the fancier, more upscale parts of Paris.
from usa ? yes of course like do like versailles ? yes its only 20 bucks ....
Versailles was inexpensive and enjoyable.
Merci pour cette vidéo, but, In France nobody eats snails, except tourists. Why ? Why do tourists love to eat snails?
I didn't realize it was a tourist thing. But Sofie and I just love snails! We had snails while in Paris and again in Morocco right after.
@@SofieAndStephen No problem, in any case you are both very nice ;)
@@ericdurville6306 Merci Eric! Cheers!
