MoMo great plays with your deviljin, I never thought I'd say this, but your deviljin is more effective than the Qudans dvj right now . I think that Knee, Qudans, and others They didn't adapt as quickly as you to this tk8 game system 🤔 . What do you think about this?
Hey Momo, I know it might sound basic but would you consider making a video on wakeup options (both defending and attacking)? I feel like if I understood more about the basic concepts, it would really help my game. Usually I see players in my rank do one to two kinds of wakeup (tech roll or spring kick). Would love a general guide but maybe also a guide tailored for DVJ? Just an idea, love the content as usual. DVJ is the most fun character in T8 for me too!
Definitely a needed video that should go in depth. I didn’t learn wake up options properly until Tekken King. And even still I sometimes get my self mixed up due to buttons changing when like rolling off the wall and when laying on the ground.
They already have guides on wakeup options. The best option in most cases is to just wakeup and block, the holding forward and timing it because it’s completely safe and the spring kick sometimes if their too aggressive but they all have risk so they could prepare for them
He talked about Oki on his dvj guide like how you get a guaranteed follow when laser if you do the headbutt throw if they don’t tech roll. If they do tech roll you get a free mixup
You’ve inspired me to take devil jin into beginner ranks and see how far I can go^^ i still struggle with hellsweep and electric inputs this being my first tekken game, but that’s what panic move samsara is for 😅
Hey Momo! Which controller are you using for DvJ? And how long have you been using it? It would also be cool to watch a review of that controller of yours at some point so that more people can see what you have to say maybe. I'm currently using DualSense (just because I'm on PS) and I'm used to PS controllers that's why I never switched but when playing Mishimas every combo is a challenge, I tried leverless and a lever and I don't think I like it, but still I definitely could see the improvement in input cleanliness and much more consistent combos, one thing I didn't like is movement with my left hand, it felt too straining somehow. So anyways, it would be cool to hear your two cents on the matter of the controller issue... And I know everyone is different, just want your personal opinion, since you're one of the best DvJ in the world
I play Korean lever on arcade stick and I personally feel that it improves your inputs and gives you a more precise effective natural feel since you use your whole left hand rather than your thumb. I played pad for the better part of 10+ years but I made the switch 2 years ago and glad I didn’t look back.

I'll tell you something a little strange I noticed as well. So I'm wondering now if matchmaking is also based on character match ups when being paired.
@@dohnaseek I dont get why people are yapping about him being braindead in tekken 8, dude have no tracking in both side and infuriated me the whole time I played him.
@@KoufalKoufax I also felt the way you did when i played him and i had a hard time getting him to kishin, hardest character to rank up along with Bryan to me. And then i fought endless Heihachis these past few days as other characters and i realized it was because i play too fundamentally like the old Heihachi, because that shit was insufferable. Guy drops the second electric but gets the pick up anyway because f3 is a baby mode combo tool, carries to the wall, you wake up to f4 into stance in heat where you can't interrupt in threat of an auto parry, unbreakable grab into another 50/50 where both options wallsplat. Even the 3 option that doesn't wallsplat and is the safest can be extended in heat with the ground punch for over 50 damage mate. This shit is not Heihachi.
