Hello, I bought the same new Makita and I have a problem with it, when idling with no load, the housing of the machine heats up from 45 to 50 degrees, and the brushes on the collector are quite thick, does this also happen with your new drill.

I love your channel dude but for people watching: DO NOT BUY MAKITA 482 series. There are reviews on all languages in the world explaining how these drills burn.

They are indeed heating pretty well when overburdened and abused, but for home use, these are still very good because they are light, comfortable and cheap.

@@ToolTest "Home use" is very wide field. Those are simply bad tools and company knows that.

Home use meaning home use, DIY projects. Assembling furniture, multi-layer wooden boards, sheet metal on the roof, wooden fences, etc. I used this drill many years together with the impact DTD152 for household needs, I didn't force them with large diameters, I protected them from heavy loads, when I saw that they were heating up, I took a break, and I did a wonderful job.
