    Please forgive any random time skips, it happens about 5-10 times for 5-15 seconds, i was having audio issues and rather than letting you guys go deaf, i edited the sound issues out, GLHF on Atoma Rejects !

    May I ask the reasoning behind both the shovel and bolt pistol, I've not played the game in a bit and never seen someone run both before?

      Sure thing, if you want the long detailed response, check out both links in the description, but in as much of a Tl:Dr as i can ( i have a toxic trait of explaining every last detail, )
      - Grenades are blitz that gain access to blessings in hand
      - Lethal Proximity is unique in that you do not need it in hand to benefit from the +25%aoe radius on my grenades
      - The shovel has Decimator and uncanny strike, which leads to
      - Shredder grenades now go from already really good to,
      +25% aoe AND damage from Grenade Tinkerer
      +25% aoe from Lethal Proximity
      +50% power from shovel when in hand (assuming max stacks but even 3-4 is enough to double nade enemies that usually wouldn't die)
      +120% rending from shovel when in hand (assuming max stacks but again even a single stack gives as much rending as a combat stim)
      +15% damage to elites from superiority complex
      +20% damage from focus target (assuming max stacks and only on pinged target)
      +7.5% damage from redirect fire (assuming max stacks, and as long as your first target that dies had 5 stacks, all subsequent focus target pings will still apply 5 stacks of redirect fire even if you only pinged with one stack of focus target, meaning its very easy to have the extra 7.5% damage at all times, its a free psyker Kinetic Prescence coherency passive, but better because it works against all targets, not just specials and elites
      +20% damage to ogryns and monstrosities
      when you add all those up, your shredder grenades are quite literally an ogryn frag bomb, but i get 3 of them, and can regen a ton of them, his does instant burst damage, mine does more damage but over time and has the benefit of actually dealing with carapace (due to uncanny strike blessing)
      the shovel is just a fantastic defensive weapon and this an up close and personal build, a ton of stamina, a ton of stagger, you can change decimator to skullcrusher and when shovel is in hand your grenades and your shovel apply +80% damage to anything staggered and your grenades + shovel heavies have a shit ton of stagger (that team mates also benefit from damage wise) which im also liking, but only just started testing, also the shovel special attack on weakspots staggers anything thats not a boss, meaning you can get +100% damage to team mates from focus target + skull crusher, and with good team mates, priority targets definitely do melt with that set up
      the bolt pistol with its special attack + shot + lethal proximity also is great defensively it acts like an 8 tick zealot choir staggered anything but the bigger stuff, but great for staggering hordes and specials and getting some space in a pinch
      both weapons just hit nice break points im currently havoc clearance 26 now and the build exactly in this video is still what im running, and its still holding up ! will upload another video soon of higher havoc games when i get time
      NOTE - the bolt pistol is a must with this build, the melee can be changed for anything you like really, but i recommend weapons that have access to a damage + rending blessing for maximum effect ie, decimator + uncanny, skull crusher + uncanny etc, but can never go wrong with just solid weapons that can independently deal with carapace but at least give + power like rashad axe headtaker
      EDIT: upon further testing and getting my mods to finally work on my new pc, i've learnt grenades do NOT apply blessings, HOWEVER they BENEFIT from blessings, ie - the stagger from grenades DOES NOT apply skullcrusher, but they do benefit from from the extra damage if skull crusher is applied from the shovel, it makes the skullcrusher blessing worse, but still good, the build is not affected at all, its just the specific skull crusher interaction im talking about, i will mention and showcase this in my next video which will be a full and complete guide to grenade vet post havoc patch, because in my honest opinion alot if not most of grenade vet stuff online is quite outdated and i do believe this is to be a contender for top 3-5 vet builds objectively, while also still being super fun, with the caveat that fun is subjective

    so is tehre a reason why you put bleed on ur bolt pistol?

      EDIT : i just put out a guide yesterday with EVERYTHING you could want to know about this build, good luck amigo !
      combined and sometimes even without focus target, it lets you hit many more one shot break points into harder difficulties, havoc 20-30 +
      i can also tap 3-4 shots off into a priority target(s) then switch to shovel and proc uncanny strike and get bigger bleed numbers, surgical is too slow, hand cannon can work with the weapon specialist variant, but puncture is by far the most consistent and the higher in havoc you go, more and more of veterans damage comes from bleed + uncanny interaction, it plays naturally into the build, and again hitting 1-2 shot break points is quite important for a good time to kill (ttk)
