@@StevenM801 we didn't grow up together, since he's a few years older and we lived in different states, but any time we had reunions, his immediate family was always dripping in Wu gear! He was always very humble though, like I didn't think he'd be a jerk, and I was right! He exudes power, but not in a pretentious way! I became a bigger fan after meeting him!

Yeah, I used to follow Jim Jarmusch films. He got famous right before Spike Lee, both coming out of NYU film school. Watch his earlier works like Night On Earth and Coffee and Cigarettes (Rza and Gza star in that one). Too, me, he fell off after awhile, but yeah he has some cult indie film classics. He uses that French African actor alot in his films, the one in the ice cream truck in Ghost Dog.

RZA's basement getting flooded is 2020 2020s x infinity.
That happened WAAAAY back in the 90s. Iirc, he was working on Raekwan's debut solo album - Cuban Linx - which would have been the first solo album from a Wu Tang Clansman. But...the flood...had to starve from scratch, which meant that Method Man's Tical came out first.
I _think._ It's been a while since I heard the story, and he didn't go into much detail here.
