I think you need to press it down against mousepad on the table instead of on the hand. So the force applies evenly to the skates. And in real life we're pressing down onto the mousepad which is on a table. Not sure about that test but its fun to watch it shatter xD
Hey there mr techne I need your help with something. The 7P+ are completely different sounding than the 7P. The eq adjustment sliders are ten slides instead of 6 like the 7P. I’m having a very hard time getting the eq adjusted to hearing Directional sounds accurate as the 7P was. But I know this headset can do it it handles mid and high town so much better than the 7P’s did like so so much better. Zero distortion compared to the 7P that sounded Distorted as soon as you would start adjusting anything higher than just a couple clicks. But anyways If you did a video in detail on what you thought of the 7P+ differences in sound and how to get that certain right sound out of it I know you would get quite a few views because it is a major problem on Reddit and has been since they came out.. if you ll go to steel series forum on reddit and type in 7P-+ you will see tons of people saying exactly what I just said lol. Hope you see this bud! Steelseries straight up lied saying the 7P+ was the same as 7P other than charging port and battery life. Like why lie??. The 7P+ is overall a better headset just freaking say that Steel series what the helll lol.
4:05 Manufacturing Variance. As long as it isnt much thicker, it wont interfere with anything. Lift off distance is something you might think about, but only in the most picky of circumstances. The g pro x "LOD" is less then what the thickness of the mouse feet is, other mice you can adjust this manually in the software.
7:20 Thats seriously impressive though, not only did the SG not break, but it appears unblemished, not even bent a slight bit.. This would make removing and reusing the skates MUCH easier then with PTFE. In the event you wanted to pull the skates open the mouse and replace the switches but not buy another set of skates, this would be great.
I got these today, (Pulsar) I play tarkov mainly and within 5 minutes I was making headshots with ease. And beat my max kill record in the first raid. A major upgrade for me....I love them !!! I don't get cursor drift or any issues with desktop use. This is the future in skates and for me they are forking excellent.
Do the superglides become muddy after a few weeks of use? I have a razer strider pad and would love them, but I actually want more speed than control and frictionless micro movements sounds so nice. But I keep seeing mixed reviews on them slowing down, speeding up, getting muddy or feeling like ptfe feet after a few weeks so Id love an answer! :) I am waiting on buying them because im just not sure yet. I have stock ptfe feet on right now.
@@nxahlol7923 I actually bought a skypad and some corepads lol. I wanted a fast frictionless experience, and I just went with glass because of that. I will say its not as frictionless as I thought it would be, but after a week of use my corepads broke in and it feels very fast now. I love it!
Why the hell is he pushing it on his hand instead of on the table? That’s going to make it shatter easier because there isn’t uniform support under the skate…
I can see the appeal for glass feet, getting that smooth zero resistance glide. For me personally I like more control, I've been using the Glorious G floats for a while and I love them.
They are not lacking control. I would say they have just as much control as my corepads, after using the superglides for 6 weeks they slowed down and are now basically indestructible corepads that feel less muddy and are less noisy. The tiger ice are significantly faster.
Wouldn't a better pressure test have been the force required to move the mice vs conventional skates rather than to bend and break them in an unrealistic scenario?
Using your hand to press against the rear of the glass doesn't make sense, you were pressing glass into a curve, of course the larger 9ne was going to crack with the flex.
Yeah I should have used something flat. Was trying to get the #’s to show live on camera. But I did it the same across them all, big and small, so it was fair at least.
Great Video, Dr. Techne. Quick Question, I know you have experience with both keyboards, but which is the better keyboard between the Corsair K100 with OPX Optical Switches and the Razer Huntsman V2 with Red Linear Optical switches. Mostly looking for low noise and comfort. Thanks.
Hey Techne, big fan! I have been using the PS5 Playstation headset for a while now and have been thinking about getting a replacement, can you please help me? Right now I am eyeing the Razer Barracuda and the Razer Kaira Wireless, I hope you can tell me which one is better
pressure is pressure, both tested the same way, so yes it is fair. will you press against your hand, no, but again same road, same surface, same weather! test to test
It's impossible to keep your hand exactly 100% in the same position every time, you can hear yourself in the video " flat to flat" .... that's not true
Newtons not Pounds*
Wait a minute so that means you couldn't generate more than 3 pounds of force then how do you use heavy mice lol

That .2 milimeter differential could be what causes the cursor to move when the mouse doesnt, simply because of the glide + the rear being heightened
the mouse does move, but its very slow and you dont notice it, until its been a while. ive had the same issue before
A great glide test would be to get an angle measure and see at what angle it starts to slide.

PS I love the DR Teche with the sticker, so good : ) Love the humor...
Be ready for the inconsistencies. I’ve been using them on different mice and pads for months.
Can you try on a Cordura pad as well as the Razer Strider?
really fun video. Im slightly surprised they didnt have any anti shatter films on the glass feet.
The black glass looks really clean. I've seen clear ones too but they didn't look nearly as good.

getting mine in 2 days but what i read is that on hybrid pads they dont change so much compared to cloth

How does zero gravity compare to jupiter? Which is a better recommendation for control pad? Is the jupiter slower?
Wouldn't a better pressure test have been the force required to move the mice vs conventional skates rather than to bend and break them in an unrealistic scenario?
sure, but pressure is pressure at the end of the day.
Why you pressing it in your hands instead of on the desk on a flat surface wouldn't it be more representative
So I could show #’s on camera
Omg the red mouse is beautiful, what is the name of the mouse please?
Pulsar xlite wireless
Can u try the mpow Air 2.4gh wirless headset, I just need to know if its good or no, plz if it is possible
ordered the pulsar glass feet because of your review, thanks
It’s a Vernier Caliper😭😭😭😭
Are you going to do a review on any of the vitrix gambit products? Just wondering
I noticed that the super glide feet get really slow and muddy after like a few days does this happen to the lethal gaming glass skates as well?

Lethals are thinner, I don't really think I am worried about them breaking though
Do you know when wicked cushions for
the virtuoso xt are coming?
soon I think
@@TheTechne ok
Hey Techne! Will you review the VICTRIX GAMBIT DUAL CORE TOURNAMENT CONTROLLER?
please make a video on capture cards 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The Techne using calipers? Make me think you were an engineer. Great job.
measuring doohickey
Techne getting technical 💪
Any suggestions for a good headset just like that Corsair headset in the beginning but something else???
That’s a really solid headset
When are they releasing the pulsar feet for the superlight? (not able to find them currently)
Hopefully soon. They have a bunch of model coming out
@@TheTechne Thanks! Looking forward to it!
They're finally out! Super excited to get mine in the mail... can't wait to try them.

We neex pad feet for glass pads 😆

Go for the huntsman v2
When Techne uploads my day is already better
So far the ptfe glorious feet feel just fine. Man do I kinda want to try them though
Glass on glass is bad. It’s gonna break faster
hey techne, in your reviews of the ducky one 2 mini, you said that they were built cheap, is the ducky one 3 mini also built like that?
I covered the one 3 tkl, same build
@@TheTechne so the ducky one 3 mini is also built cheaply?
I've tried glass mouse feet on 2 mice now and they are no bueno for me.
I thought the same at first, but gave them some time, and I love them now
Please make a arctis 9 vs h3 hybrid thank you soo muuchhh

Day 3 of asking which one is better
Trying to stay around $100?
@@mahmoodshafi7854 check out the headset unplugged in this vid, not just an ad, it’s seriously a dang good headset.
@@TheTechne Thank you so much! Just saw the review and that mic quality shocked me, This is exactly what I needed, Again thank you so much.
great video man!
thank you so much
you said you would never take sponsorships
I love these kinds of videos!
The difference in thickness of the front and rear skates might be why your cursor was moving
It’s more than likely my desk being u even since I use an adjustable desk
I use Sapphire glass :)
Lethal glass skates have more speed and Pulsar glass skates have more control from what I have seen
They feel the same. It really depends on your surface as seen in this video
I love those voice cracks
Nice follow up 😂.
Techne Science tip
Really accurate and usefull
There are glass mice pads are available as well maby consider give them a shot.
