- Salga is calling for the amendment of the Prevention of Illegal
Eviction Act. Salgas's Mluleki Nkosi says the current requirement of
the act must be amended to allow municipalities to be able to change
their bylaws to ensure that people occupying land or buildings
illegally can be evicted on time.

Prevention of illegal eviction plays right into the greedy claws of the ANC. How about the prevention of the economic refugees into SA
Grabbing land and buildings, should be illegal period.
It's illegal but not sustainable in a country where people have been dispossessed of their Land. Ammendment Section 25 of the Constitution for proper redistribution.
The ANC applies double standards when it comes to eviction orders, it only applies when it suits them!

Why was this law implemented in the first place?? Those lawmakers can't think for themselves, I mean it is obvious this type of law is a problem?
My guess is that ownership of the land in 1994 was problematic for the black (majority) and this seeks to protect the persons occupying land especially for residential purposes from eviction without fiddling with property rights.
Instead of the ANC trying to pribe people with free housing, they should build affordable housing in flat structures so that there can be continuity. It is nit sustainable to build every dingle person a free house, and people do not stay poor forever. If the government, in partnership with the private sector, builds afgordable housong, it will be much better and those that get to afford overtime, can vacate and allow others who cannot afford in. Unlike em RDP houses which people sell once their lives get better.
Until Section 25 of the Constitution, SAn problems won't be resolved. People need access to Land.
Whete is that land you want? If you got the land, what are you going to do with it? Are you going to put up a house, a shack, do you want to farm the land? Tell me.
Make new laws and change the other laws of comparing your country with the others as we as blacks don't listen to each other and don't respect one another. Those who open their boarders they know how to deal with the people who dont want to comply. Is the matter of not respecting one another .THat is why the country has problems. People are using the poor people for their living. NOt only using foreigners SOUTHAFRICANS too we are also poor. BUILD houses sothat you can see where the problem lies for the SouthAfricans and ofcourse those who integrated themselves.legally .This will be continuing if it is not getting fixed now from that day of that. fire.
