[ARCHIVE 1995] psychowsky - Oceania (Demo Tape)

This one's from an age before time :) Made with humble means, since I never had much money to buy all the proper gear I needed (that's why I cherish the joy of producing 100% in the box). Back then my setup was a Sound Canvas and an S-330 Sampler from Roland, along with a Yamaha RY-10 Drum Machine. I used a no-name €70 mixer with terrible noise... I can still remember pushing that Sound Canvas to the max in order to get the Phaser / Flanger Effect and the Delay.
Oceania was also the first and last serious Goa-Trance track I ever produced! Although I do enjoy some tracks of that genre, I never fancied the "eastern" feel it had. Coming from a place like Greece, can cause a serious cultural trauma when things in music get too "oriental" (ask your local Greek producer why :) ).
The version published here is the "instrumental version" (there's another version with spoken words - I don't want to discus that). It was ripped from a metal tape, and has been denoised and remastered a bit.
