How to Paint Graffiti on BLACK t shirts WITHOUT a hair dryer

- Here's a guide on how to airbrush graffiti designs on black t shirts. Black shirts require a white base in order for typical transparent airbrush paints to show up. I'll show how to build up that white base evenly, how to add your colors in one layer at a time, and then how to cut in your black outlines to sharpen up the design.
Airbrushing Calligraphy style lettering on black uses the same process, but requires a little more precision, we'll cover this in another video!

Very nice!
amazing bro !💥💥💥
Thank you!
Enjoy seeing your work and the way you take time to explain!
Question for you, how often do you change out your airbrushed for new because of worn out parts, or do you take them apart to deep clean and repair?
Heat pressing the shirt before layering your paint to lay down the nap so it's not so fuzzy on the edges helps alot
Nice sir
Hey man hope u doing well u r awesome every thing that spray onto a shirt and will u spray on to a white pants and of skulls on them ty
nice
Hey man I'm new to the channel, an I absolutely love your work. I am starting to get into airbrushing an I'd like to know what are the boards that you use to put your Tshirts on, an where could i find them? I appreciate your time, keep doing what you do brotha.
Thanks for hanging out! The boards I made myself out of Masonite. Uncut them to size with a jigsaw.
Good video idea! I've been needing to make new boards for a while, I'll make a video on the process 😉
What paint do you use?
Love it, Dale. Thank you for posting! What paints do you use?
Thanks! I'm using Createx Wicked Colors here.
@@DaleTheAirbrushGuy Are Wicked colors better than the standard Createx opaque and transparent colors?

I want to order how?
what about transparent base before starting brushing? is it useful or not?
There are pre-treatments for black shirts for dtg printing, maybe something similar would work to block the absorbtion of paint into the shirt, giving you an easier time. I haven't tried that personally
Do u need to heat press or is there other ways to set paint
You can use a heat press or an iron. But you definitely need heat and pressure
HI. BRILLIANT WORK. IF I CAN SEND MY LARGER SIZE T SHIRT COULD YOU DO IT FOR ME. I CAN'T FIND ANYONE WHO HAS YOUR SKILLS. HOLLER BACK
The paint you are using is textile paint which mixes water, right? And for any mixing paint and paint thinner, is there a difference?
I'm sorry, I don't understand..
Yes, these are water based acrylic airbrush textile paints. You can reduce/thin the paint with water, or Airbrush reducer, which is essentially butoxyethenol.
I'm sorry if you don't understand my English ..
No worries! I'm happy to help if I can!
thank you for helping.
to be honest i really wanted to master the airbrush technique so i asked a lot.
I hope you don't get tired of answering my questions.
You're welcome! That's what I'm here for!
Why is it you don't coat the shirt with transparent binder and he said it and then you put your white down and it works so much better I've been there brushing for 25 years and that was my method and it worked pretty good I like what you did your work looks super good May the living God Jesus Christ bless you as you go about your business
Req bro name Muhamad Prastika
Are there any colors you avoid when airbrusing on black shirts?
Not necessarily, but I find that richer colors, dark blues, purples, reds; these cover well, and I use them when I can. No examples of that in this video unfortunately.
Yellow is definitely the hardest, takes many coats.
Why wouldn't you go a little tighter on your control cut back the over spray maybe only pennies to give the black but might have sharper image and the natural black tee colour
That's a great way to do it as well.
I actually prefer to have the slight overspray, cut out by a sharp and clean black line. This ads a lot of contrast and a unique look. I'll add some close up photos of this shirt now to my channel so you can see
AirbrushCustoms beautiful thanks
