Western critics are forgetting one thing: China's manufacturing capacity. Both the T-34s and the Sherman tanks were considered "inferior" to German tanks, but they were built in large numbers. Numbers that the Germans couldn't hope to match. Western critics are making the same mistake.

How many Chinese planes have taken a dirt nap?? As many f 35 's as there are in the air , in a dozen different countries I'm not surprised there are some accidents. BTW how many mishaps have been attributed to pilot error

They claimed it was under armed and poorly armoured and its pilots where poor and had short sightedness and where poorly trained until Zeke's started shooting down Americans planes especially Brewster Buffalos and Dauntlesses by the ton load until they developed the Corsair and the Mustang did they have a chance ... underestimating their enemy has always been a American problem that's why they where defeated by both the Vietnamese and the Taliban .
In the case of the Japanese "Zeke/Zero" fighter, the US underestimated the Japanese because they were an Asian power. and the combat experience ofthe Japanese in China wouldn't really matter in a fight with Americans even if flying less advanced machines. The Zero was underarmored and its guns had a hard time taking down armored US fighters such as the Wildcat the P-38 and even the P-40. Once American pilots used the superior armor and diving ability of US planes with tactics designed to minimize dog fighting, the US racked up overwhelming superior kill ratios over Japan. America didn't need to wait for the Mustang and Corsair to gain control of the skies. The P-38 Lighting was the most dangerous USAAF fighter of the war in the Pacific and the top Navy plane was the Hellcat. America didn't underestimate the Taliban or North Vietnamese. Those insurgencies took advantage of running supply lines through neutral countries that were immune from American attack. They were willing to suffer 100 to 1 KIA ratios on the battlefield because in the end the Taliban and Vietnamese lived there and the Americans would sooner or later have to go home. Thats pretty much the same tactics the American colonies used to defeat the Super Power of their day,the British Empire.
@@alicedog368 "lmao look at u getting all defensive, just admit u lost" How can you say "lost" when we haven't engaged in a nuclear exchange with Vietnam or the Taliban? What would be the point of staying and killing more of them? To turn the rubble into a finer grain of sand? Unlike the Taliban the U.S. has no need to waste time and treasure killing wanna-be wife beaters and perverts. They are all so whacked out on drugs the only way to totally defeat them would be to kill them all. No need for that.....yet.
The Liaoning is for training purposes only and will only be used for combat when absolutely needed, and by that time, it will be a launching pad for the next generation Chinese combat drones.
Yup. It has always been known that the first carrier is always going to be a training carrier. The PLAN needs experience and needs it badly, having a carrier for that purpose is vital. Anyone who keep trying to compare Liaoning to carriers like the Nimitz or even the QE and then conclude that it sucks, is deliberately being disingenuous. It is obviously a propaganda piece to assuage western fears of a rising China.
I doubt that would even make a difference! China is yet to find out that operating the type 003 carrier wont be easy. For starters, she hasn't got enough power!
Im from Liaoning province. It can be a special honor to name the very first top class ship of the nation after Liaoning province, Im sure this ship will be a naval museum after retired from navy.
It's okay when the western military underestimate the Chinese military. What counts is when they confront us and be surprised by fhe Real capabilities of the Chinese PLA. The element of Surprise is a great advantage in a battle and any good military general will agree to this. And only the PLA knows what it has. JIAYOU CHUNG GUO 🇨🇳 👍
The PLA has absolutely zero institutional knowledge for how to fight the west. I'm not even convinced they could actually make a landing on Taiwan much less create a true expeditionary force. By the way they know this themselves. The vast majority of the Chinese stuff is either Russian or slightly upgraded Russian with stolen western tech. We've all seen how Russia's air force has fared in Ukraine.
The problem with these carriers and jets are that most people misunderstand their purpose. They are for carrier operations training purposes. And to be honest is a brilliant idea. Why build and use a expensive carrier and jets for training only?
well, carriers are only for wars with weaker countries who has no anti ship weapons. i bet US won't deploy its carriers to south China sea (< 2000km) if they want to fight with China. it's also true for China, if China want to take back TW or fight Japan, they won't send their carriers to the warzone neither - they would just use ballistic missiles to kill most of the ants first then send carriers to assist their ground troops. that's how to use a carrier, and it's more than training.
To build a carrier force as a deterrent, China has to start somewhere and they need to catch up. The Liaoning i& the J-15 are precisely that, a starting point for them to learn how to build & operate a carrier all on their own. And the pace they're progressing in this area is startlingly rapid...!! They went from zero carrier, zero naval jet & zero experience to where they are now in just 20 years. In the next 5 years, they'll have a bigger carrier operational with EMALS, carrier-borne stealth jets & AEW aircraft.... all building on the training & learning they get from turning an abandoned Russian vessel into a modern training tool that is the Liaoning, plus designing & building the J-15 to go with it. As a starting point, having managed all that is actually pretty damn impressive.
@@GetTheFuckOutofH3re1 no one has real mordern sea war experience today, does US have experience? fighting a war with small nation with no even navy or air force in afgandistan or iraq or syria is not real experience
Apart from J-15, Liaoning and Shandong carriers also carry the Z-18F, which is a 13-ton large helicopter developed based on the French Super Frelon. It has a 1,000 km range and can carry torpedoes and anti-ship missiles as well. That helicopter needs some introduction too. And the 003 carrier is about to be completed, installed with a domestic electro-magnetic catapult. A new version of J-15 (reported by some media as J-15T) capable of being catapult-launched has already been developed and tested. So even if those accusations were true, they will soon become history.
With regards to new versions of the J15, it remains to be seen how many airframes will be produced, and whether they will be available for the Liaoning and Shandong. The new variant have better missiles and Aesa radar, as well as CATOBAR capability. PLAN is unlikely to upgrade the existing J15s, because they have been used very intensely for training purposes. So, whether the upgrade will correct the existing issues regarding the combat capability of the Liaoning and Shandong air wings is uncertain. But I of course agree that these problems won't be there on the Type 003 carrier.
@@f-35lightningii6 Flanker aerodynamics are undisputedly very good. How good comeparef to the Super Hornet? Idk, but it had always been known to be one of the best.
Compared to the US F/A-18s (both the Hornet and newer Super Hornet), the J-15 is a heavier aircraft able to carry more weapons and fuel, and it can fly higher and faster. J-15s are also aerodynamically superior to the F/A-18s. However, the Block II Super Hornet has a better radar than the non-updated J-15 currently in service, which is a crucial advantage. The new updated version of the J-15 is going to have a new AESA radar, improved engine, CATOBAR ability and other enhancements. This new version will most likely be superior to the F/A-18s in many critical aspects.
This was a very informative and good video. As the content creator said, it is never good or wise to underestimate your competitor. Till this day many western military analyst have continued to belittle and disparage the J-15. However, if I were the content creator, I would have let them continue with their views. Let them build up a false impression of their superiority. If they feel good about it, let them enjoy their fantasy. Why do you want to burst their bubble? Let them get a shock when they least expect it. Wouldn't you want to look at their SHOCKED EXPRESSIONS when it happens?
A new aircraft being used withing a new branch of a service.... You have to enter the game somewhere and start building up the experience and proficiency. this is exactly what China has done and is now undergoing rapid evolution in both Carriers and Aircraft as Chinese Naval Aviation gets itself established. IT s the same thing we have seen in other areas of the military where China has jumped in and played very rapid catchup..
Rapid catch-up means accidents and death. That's the cost of the carrier game. Look at history, any country. The J-15 is a fine aircraft, but keep missing the point. Any fuel onboard? That question was skirted around.
The ridicule about the J-15 has no leg to stand on because the new one essentially will be like a J-11D (which could whip the F-15J and anything in the ROCAF). The shortcoming was never in the plane but in the payload and fuel limitation associated with the Ski Jump takeoff. That won't be a problem once type 003 is commissioned and Shandong and Liaoning are retrofitted with carapults.
@@thomaszhang3101 Full load for strike mission means full fuel, 2 PL-15, 2 PL-10 and 2 YJ-83. Not possible with ski jump. That's why they developed J-15 buddy refuelling so a fully armed J-15 with minimal fuel and top up after airborne.
@baileyboy73 baileyboy73 ok Mr. Obvious, hehe. On a serious note, it is vital for any big country to produce their own weapons no matter the quality. Self sufficiency is key to survival. And as it stands currently, Chinese planes are superior to Russian ones in avionics, sensors, material, manufacture technique, weapons, falling behind only in engine (which is mitigated with latest adoption of ws-10 variants). Russia had a strong foundation in fighter design, but it is too poor to invest in newer technology to keep it up to date. China does have money and did invest hugely in such technology.
What a stupid person, China is ahead of Russia in all aspects except for aero engines. China is much richer than Russia, and China has sufficient resources to invest in the military, which is why China is ahead of Russia except for aero engines. Engines require long-term technical accumulation, even if China has sufficient funds. I don't know which backward third world country you are from. It's easy for you idiots to discredit China: you can use America to disparage China. But when you compare it to Russia, hahaha, you're a stupid dog with a great sense of humor
It seems like the West / US is somewhat underestimating the J15. This is obvious regarding the takeoff weighr, range and reliability. Losing two airframes in 10 years in a navy without previous history operating carriers actually seems pretty great. That said, the fact that it lacks an AESA radar and doesnt carry the PL15 is limiting. It is likely the latest version(s] will address these issues.
I think they have pretty accurate information and assessment internally, and I bet they prepared very seriousely, but on media, they have to make pepole believe "west" is still the most powerful. Simple as that.
@camt8804 Think about China’s capabilities in electronic equipment manufacturing, think about Shenzhen and Huawei, not to mention China’s monopoly on production of Gallium and Germanium
I think j15 will fly more air defence missions for the fleet than going on the offensive by stretching to its operations range limit. the offensive part will be carried out by land based anti ship ballistic missiles. the whole system is built around a2/ad
it is said that, if you cannot appreciate & learn from your enemy's achievements means you'll never be able to defeat them in war . . . your enemy is your biggest teacher, respect that & you will prevail . . .

The amount of human resources in china says it all. And what if half of those scientists and engineers around the western world comes back to china. It's staggering and suicidal not to take china tech achievement seriously.
Without the new carrier implementing a CATOBAR system then the J-15 is under utilised as it is unable to use its full payload capacity or fuel capacity in order to get off the current Soviet style carriers - it does make sense and I agree with that assessment when u look at the lack of AEWACS aircraft on current carriers (KJ-600) is being developed for the new carrier However any 4th generation fighter such as the J-15, especially knowing China’s great aviation industry, will be more that prepared for whatever role command requires and they will definitely have a life time upgrade to make sure they keep up with any adversaries so it doesn’t matter what the west thinks as each fighter will have its role and will be able to maximise its ability specified for that role
Thanks dude. I think the aircraft catapult is indeed key, and these are widely expected to be installed on the Type 003. Some people are advocating for catapults to be installed on the current ski jump carriers, but i am skeptical whether this will happen. On the upgrades to the J15, I agree that they will be improved, but the existing airframes likely wouldn't be, because they have been used very intensely for training purposes, and will probably have to be retired soon. But you are correct in the sense that the new J15s that is being produced will be upgraded with CATOBAR compatibility and AESA radars. We actually got some concrete info on this version of the J15 very recently. I hope to do a short video on it early next week. Watch this space!

At this day and age we would expect any nation to build a better first carrier than our first. Our first was a century ago. What about submarines? Was yours's much more advanced than the USS Turtle?
Spot On!. You should study F14 history operating on the aircraft carrier and you would be shocked with the number of crashes and fatalities. PLA J15 is nothing in comparison. Look at F35.....already 3 lost in less than 3 years in South China Sea. One from Japan, the other from UK and the recent one in USA. 3 crashes in less than 5 years....
First Thing First! Only recently are China using Aircraft Carriers thus wait for accidents in the near Future to happen and that since its not long China using Carriers yet have reports of 2 aircraft crashes than one can only imagine how many will in the long run.
@@alfredawomi2340 Have you ever looked into historical data when other nations first started aircraft carriers a century ago? I would say Liaoning is the very first aircraft carrier not even made in China fully. Of course enchanted field for China. It serves in many aspects. Take off and landing are new for pilots in real time. It also provides enormous information to engineers, technicians, opening the leaders' to decide what kind of long term to set. So far we have seen China is capable of fully domestic carrier as Shandong. If you understand the way of Chinese people ,they will be in driving seat in less than two decades. They do not need to have 6/7/8 of them. The level, caliber of rocket force is well known for speed and extreme accuracy, yankees carriers will be kept at bay. Time is on their side. Yankees subs will be hitting seamounts again and again regardless of sea wolf or sea dog.
I agree, China does not need eleven carriers. You get a lot more for your defense budget by building advanced missiles. China's missiles are almost on a par with Russian missiles and are ahead of those of America.
PAPER TIGER! A cheap copy of an obsolete Soviet aircraft. Regardless of whether the Chinese can actually put their Type 003 carrier to sea with a functional catapult, the J-15 will never be able to carry a useful payload or have the range to pose a threat to any maritime power.
So... four J-15s crashed since 2016 and the western world immediately jeers & calls it the flopping fish. Well, since 2019 three F-35s have already crashed at sea. Out of curiosity, can the F-35 take off with a full load of fuel + full combat load from HMS Queen Elizabeth's ski ramp?
Only 2 J15 crashed, the others were incidents but not crashed. F-35B has a much smaller fuel tank than A and C varient, so even if it can takeoff at max weight, it will still have a very limited range.
Wow! Taiwan is winning just like Ukraine is winning? The worst thing to enter combat with is an underestimation of the enemy. Taiwan will learn as Ukraine is learning.
Unlike other flankers (J11 series, J16 series) use WS-10. J-15 still uses the AL31F as the main engine. AL31F has become the only engine that China currently still buying from Russia. Not quite sure if J-15T is still going to use the AL31F, since rumor says that it is going to use WS-10. WS-10 was very bad in the early years of development (maybe around 2012), to prove the usage of WS-10, there was a time when the Chinese flankers like J11B used two different engines on one jet, one was AL31F, and another was WS-10. After WS-10 finally achieved its original goal of design, the buying of AL31F quickly decreased to only J15. And then there were rumors saying AL31F is a kind of balanced trade exchange between China and Russia, it is not because the PLA Navy has no choice (Their J11BGH use WS-10), but because the Lyulka design bureau needs to have customer's order to maintain their company's running, especially after 2014. But now Russia is at War, and the production has all shifted for that, and now it is very hard for the Lyulka to provide the AL31F to China stable since their production is all now serve to the War. so it is very possible that the J15T is going to use WS-10. These early type J15 will continue to use AL31F until the Navy is out of storage, and then shift to WS-10 or some other Chinese engine that time. I don't think PLA will just decommission these J-15 quickly, maybe these J-15 will still serve on Liaoning or Shandong for a long time, or maybe transfer to the Navy school. PLA usually don't just waste any jets as long as there is the possibility to upgrade them.
Are you sure it was ridiculed and criticized more than the F35 ?... I think every plane has it's own fans and "non-fans" Depends on what makes the news and when it does...
I think that because this is an English language RUclips channel, which has few if any Chinese viewers or subscribers, many viewers and commenters have a bias against China, so the number of negative comments will likely be much higher than if this was a Chinese social media channel. A lot of people outside of China are either ignorant of how advanced China really is, or they overstate the combat experience of some western nations compared to the PLA's combat experience. Plain old anti China attitudes is also probably a large part of the negative comments unfortunately.
@@EurasiaNaval In fact, the information that 002 can carry 36 J-15 is basically false. In fact, the leaders of the shipyard quoted the data on the Chinese Internet in an interview with reporters, which was not the real data. There was a deviation in the follow-up media reports, which did not explain that the data was quoted from the data on the Internet, resulting in a closed loop in the dissemination of information. Compared with 001, the increase of the actual carrying capacity of 002 is very limited, because the overall design is the same as 001, but the location of the original anti-ship missile launcher is changed to the hangar. In fact, this space is not large enough to accommodate 12 J-15 (001 is not equipped with anti-ship missiles, and the corresponding location is changed to the naval cabin)

The problem is not the J-15. I am sure J-15 is pretty capable. The issue is the carrier. So far China is still using STOBAR carrier. In order for Chinese navy to utilize full potentials of J-15 they need CATOBAR carrier.

Yes, skyjump has limitation in term of aircraft load capacity, but the main important issue is, how china accelerate and compete US aircraft carrier like nimitz class can launch aircraft with 120 sorties per day and gerald ford class with 160 sorties per day
It's good that the USA military experts ridicule China's hardware so that they would be caught off guard during any real encounter...China will persevere and overtake US in due course. Jiayou.
Not so long ago, China was laughed at about their product quality, from white electronic goods, cars, toys, ... even 10 years ago a banking exec was saying China was a follower in payment industry. Well, look at what happen. China has knocked out Japanese electronic giants, Alipay & Wechat pay become leaders in the industry (globally), most recently exporting electric cars that even rivaling Tesla (praised & admited by Musk himself), highspeed trains, proprietary passenger widebody jets that will take on Boeing & Airbus... as for military. China's first aircraft carrier was launched in 2012, the 2nd indigenious version in 2017, and the 3rd China-made (with electronic catapult) in 2022 (to be in service by 2025), ... And China has only just started.
I'm sure it's a very competent fourth gen fighter. Do I think it stands a chance against an F-22 or F-35? Absolutely not. The J-20 might at least in certain conditions although it's not a true stealth jet.
The problem of Liaoning is not its plane, but it's steam engines. Steam engines needs time to heat up. Basically, Liaoning needs about 30 minutes to heat up and prepare it self and gain speed to be combat ready. While other carriers like nuclear or gas turbines only need half of the time. Liaoning is really vulnerable when in docked. China needs an replacement engine. PL-8 is also not as good as PL-10.
Let’s look at the incredibly negligent manner in which western ‘superpowers’ have lost unimaginable aircraft. It’s a miracle and reflective of advanced Chinese technologies that only 2 planes were lost over 12 years.
I don’t understand why China built the 002 Shangdong. It’s basically a larger version of 001 Liaoning with the same limitations of a ski ramp. Should have built 002 as a modern catapult carrier.
@@sammychow5238 They still could train navy pilots had the 002 was a catapult carrier. Unless they hadn’t the technology of steam or electro magnetic catapults.
001 Liaoning was not being built from scratch, it was built in 1986 as Kuznetsov-class later renamed as "Varyag ", China purchased it and refurbished it and renamed as Liaoning. So 002 Shandong was the 1st carrier built from scratch.
How is this guy an expert? At the c. 6min. mark, he claims that the ski jump requires that aircraft "expend a considerable amount of internal fuel." That explanation calls all of his claims into question.
@EurasiaNaval The perceived weakness of the J-15 has nothing to do with its aerodynamic or kinetic strengths. It has to do with the ski jump. The ski jump results in high centripetal forces acting on the wings of the J-15 as it accelates upward. The only way to prevent damaging the wings being damaged is to limit the stores to light weight missiles.
Military establishments in the US/West HAVE NOT ridiculed the J-15. The articles you cited are written by civilians(with no military background), not the Pentagon or the US Air Force/Navy. Read DIA's report to congress for (unclassified) insight into what the DOD thinks of the J-15.
How can aircraft launch off of a ski jump compared to a catapult? I would think that the ski jump would slow the aircraft rather than make it speed up. What kind of fuzzy physics is going on there? Also, doesn't the ski jump limit what kind of aircraft can fly off of that carrier? ....whereas a catapult can be adjusted for lighter or heavier aircraft. Yes?
J-15 is huge and heavy fighter jets. It's not suitable for fighter but as bomber. Better built smaller and medium sizes fighter jets with powerful engines like J-17, J-10 & J-35.
In combat rule no 1 do not understimate your enemy might be surprise you nations are familiar bout US armament so there's a possibility to imitate the weapons and making better and advance by innovation .
I think the development of the J 15 program is not right. Heavy fighters are not needed by modern aircraft carriers. The USA, Russia, France, India have long switched to light fighters such as the super hornet F 18, Mig 29K and Rafale-M. For example, a Russian aircraft carrier can fit 36 Su 33 (similar to J 15), and almost twice as many Mig 29K, when the Mig 29k is almost as capable as the Su 33. China should develop a light carrier-based fighter based on the J 10, it is well suited for this.
I think what you said is basically right, although I don't think the J-10 is suitable for carrier use. China is developing the J-35, which will be much smaller than the J-15 and with VLO designs, similar to the F-35C. That said, there's a role for heavier fighters even in the US Navy in the form of the F-18, as the latter can carry a heavier payload of anti-ship weapons and greater operational range, although for air cover the light fighters are better. The J-10 I do not think is suitable for carrier conversion, particularly for STOBAR ships that demands greater engine performance, and having only a single engine makes taking-off difficult from ski-ramps. Twin engine configuration also provides the reliability for naval aviation operations.
@@EurasiaNaval The J 10 is light, and it doesn't need a very powerful engine for a normal takeoff from a springboard. The J 35 is a 5th generation fighter, which is why their cost and production speed are deteriorating, which is why China will have to make up most of the air group from the 4th generation anyway. And I'm not sure if the J 35 will be able to take off with Type 001 and 001A. The J 15 and Su 33 are good planes, but they are very limited in quantity. It would seem that they are only two meters longer, but they fit almost twice as much, I don't know how China will solve this problem, and whether it will solve it at all.
@@EurasiaNaval Of course, it's a bit contradictory, because if the J 15B is used from a catapult, it will be able to better reveal all its qualities (yes, it can perform them from a springboard, but a little worse) and its characteristics will be much better than the F 18 (I'm not criticizing the F 18, it's a very good aircraft). But the F 18 can be based on an aircraft carrier more, and it's a little unclear what to give preference to for an aircraft carrier.
@@EurasiaNaval perhaps a little off topic, but in the Soviet Union and Russia, options were considered for the full disclosure of the potential of the springboard. That is, the planes were designed so that they could work well from a springboard with the same efficiency as from a catapult. For example, the Soviet Su 33 and Mig 29k have a special engine mode that makes it very powerful during takeoff, which allows the aircraft carrier to take off at any speed with full, and even overload combat load. And it basically turned out. Also, the use of the Yak 44 AWACS aircraft (an analogue of the American Grumman E-2 Hawkeye) was considered from the springboard, which was equipped with twin blades and powerful engines, which made it possible to take off even from the springboard without much effort, but due to the financial crisis in the 80s, the project was not completed, and in Russia they have not yet returned to it.

At a time and place of our choosing....on our terms. Afghanistan is a rubble pile. What would be the point of staying and killing more of them? To turn the rubble into a finer grain of sand? Unlike the Taliban the U.S. has no need to waste time and treasure killing wanna-be wife beaters and perverts. The problem with these carriers and jets are that most people misunderstand their purpose. They are for carrier operations training purposes. And to be honest is a brilliant idea. Why build and use a expensive carrier and jets for training only?
Yes they're mostly used for training and defensive purposes, not like the american ones which are used mostly for offensive purposes.
well, carriers are only for wars with weaker countries who has no anti ship weapons.
i bet US won't deploy its carriers to south China sea (< 2000km) if they want to fight with China.
it's also true for China, if China want to take back TW or fight Japan, they won't send their carriers to the warzone neither - they would just use ballistic missiles to kill most of the ants first then send carriers to assist their ground troops.
that's how to use a carrier, and it's more than training.

A new aircraft being used withing a new branch of a service.... You have to enter the game somewhere and start building up the experience and proficiency. this is exactly what China has done and is now undergoing rapid evolution in both Carriers and Aircraft as Chinese Naval Aviation gets itself established.
@baileyboy73 baileyboy73 no you are so wrong to say he’s wrong lol

Without the new carrier implementing a CATOBAR system then the J-15 is under utilised as it is unable to use its full payload capacity or fuel capacity in order to get off the current Soviet style carriers - it does make sense and I agree with that assessment when u look at the lack of AEWACS aircraft on current carriers (KJ-600) is being developed for the new carrier
However any 4th generation fighter such as the J-15, especially knowing China’s great aviation industry, will be more that prepared for whatever role command requires and they will definitely have a life time upgrade to make sure they keep up with any adversaries so it doesn’t matter what the west thinks as each fighter will have its role and will be able to maximise its ability specified for that role

@EurasiaNaval The perceived weakness of the J-15 has nothing to do with its aerodynamic or kinetic strengths. It has to do with the ski jump. The ski jump results in high centripetal forces acting on the wings of the J-15 as it accelates upward. The only way to prevent damaging the wings being damaged is to limit the stores to light weight missiles.
i support, Russia,, China, Pakistan, North Korea.. Love from BANGLADESH 🇧🇩🇳🇱🇵🇰🇨🇳🇰🇵
F-35 fly only mark 1.3 talking about terrible jet. F-35 carrying capacity is much lower. What are they comparing with ?
Yes?
UK’s carrier uses ski jump ramps!?
Yes.
Yes sir… same issues… but they are newly built… 2 summore lol
that's why they can only launch F35Bs instead of F35Cs
Any news on the J-15B?
J-15 is huge and heavy fighter jets. It's not suitable for fighter but as bomber.
Better built smaller and medium sizes fighter jets with powerful engines like J-17, J-10 & J-35.
Underestimating their opponents while war mongering and fear based sabre rattling is as violently American as ranch sauce.
Looks like it might possibly beat the ol' Saratoga and Yorktown... not so sure about beating the Essex class carriers.
It seems Chinese are very comfortable of being underestimated by the west
In combat rule no 1 do not understimate your enemy might be surprise you nations are familiar bout US armament so there's a possibility to imitate the weapons and making better and advance by innovation .
Chinese war planes and aircraft carrier have never experience real combat. Let’s see how they perform.
THANK YOU FOR THE INFO.
Chinese quality control.
These jets are as good as SU-27s but one major weakness.... engine reliability which they should look into and improve overtime...
Chinese media called this jet.... floppy fish.
In China's own words. The plane is know as the Flopping Fish. Don't believe me? Look it up.
wow, thats not true
There is no such thing as a Western Military Expert.
