Someone also made a Whirlpool Man remix in the MM8 soundfont. It might be the same guy who did this. Mega Man 8's soundfont is good at songs like this. Wily 2 and Frost Man are proof.

Openmpt, thats the software used here. It can be used to make various style covers like MMX, MM7 and as seen here MM8. Its a tracker so it'll work similarly to famitracker
