Hey Stan! Great reaction to a fun classic. I have his album on vinyl from the 1970’s. It’s full of great story-songs. Another to consider is “My Girl Bill” which is awesome. In the early 80’s I worked with Mr. Stafford. I worked for a Tv/Film production company and it produced a show called Those Amazing Animals. There were three hosts, the other two were Burgess Meredith and Priscilla Presley. One day I had the opportunity to pick up Mr. Stafford up at LAX and bring him home. He was as nice as could be and I had put Dr. Demento on the radio as it was Sunday night in L.A. it was a fun ride to his home. I requested this other song before and I’ll ask again. It’s a recent (March) cover of the classic Carpenters song We’ve Only Just Begun. As this is a video, I’ll link it below. It’s by James Wilkas and feat. Tori Holub. I have 40 reactions out there on this and no one has had an issue.
