    I caught Cheryl one evening performing with Her Manhattan Transfer Jazz vocalese alma mater at LA's Los Feliz district Greek Theatre, a concert I didn't want to end & Cheryl Bentyyne & Co. did many encores that Greek Theatre top of N Vermont Ave evening...... in My vintage LA Los Feliz 'Neighborhood

      Thank you! I was hoping someone would know who that sax guy is...what a fabulous sound. Sounds very much like the tenor solos for Linda Ronstadt recordings in the Lush Life sessions (Nelson Riddle).

    The voice is perfect, sensitive, but a record record session wasted by a pianist who plays for himself , forgetting his role behind a singer, and a sax player who is more a funky man than a Jazzman, ignoring the chords played by his collegues , and playing some vulgar effects that have nothing to be here, perfect bassist and drummer.
