wanted to let you know that i really appreciate how you give life to these songs by giving them original lyrics that fit with the theme.
one of my inspirations to eventually hit the web with my own covers as well.
you got style, appeal, voice, and creativity. i really dig it and i hope to see more great OST's performed in the future :)
I think that you've done a great job with the song, but these lyrics, as well as some of the others, have incomplete phrases - as far as I know "flaunt" must be used with something else - "to flaunt something". Also, "my own home cannot heal" - "home" and "heal" can't really fit together, as far as I know, unless it's a metaphorical comparison with something, but I didn't see one in this case.
That having been written, would you like a grammar check and help with lyrics in the future? I really like your work, and would gladly get involved for grammar checks before you record.
The added lyrics were incredible. Almost as if they always belonged and only now do I hear the real song.

Of the songs, it feels like this and Rules of Nature would actually get mainstream radio play. Love their lyrics.
Completely agree. Every vocal track in MGR slams but I'm My Own Master Now is my favourite by a mile, and that's saying a LOT considering the quality of the OST.

This theme is used so well through LQ-84i/Blade Wolf's story. Chronologically, Sam's story hears it first, with the acoustic guitar suggesting that his words and ideas have begun to move Blade Wolf, though he's still chained to Desperado. The lyrics play throughout to show that Wolf is emotionally turbulent and not really committed to the assassination.
In Wolf's own story, Khamsin's theme applies to them both, like Raiden and Armstrong with It Has To Be This Way.
In the main game, when Raiden and LQ-84i fight, there are no lyrics for the first two phases. Wolf is beaten down by life with Desperado and hopeless that it's ever going to be different. Only in the third stage, facing death, Wolf admits in his heart that he yearns for freedom and a life beyond being a weapon for Desperado.
In its final rendition, there are neither lyrics nor music. Blade Wolf has attained absolute autonomy over the direction of his life and even surpassed his programmed directives. We only hear him howl in the third rendition of I'm My Own Master Now because he's gotten what he wanted and that longing for freedom is replaced with purpose and power.

Этот кавер наверняка будет намного лучше, так как у этого канала есть отличная тенденция добавлять собственные оригинальные куплеты в подобные треки, как это было со всеми предыдущими каверами. Так что ждём! :D
@@AlexINITIATIVE Да, именно. Они не просто поют строки но и добавляют то чего не было в оригинальной песне, свой особый вайб. К тому же каждый новый кавер лучше чем прошлый. It has to be this way у них получился намного лучше чем Bury the light или Subhuman просто потому что их профессионализм растёт и качество треков соответственно тоже. Мне кажется скоро они дорастут до того что им придётся делать каверы на DMC5 по новой, потому что теперь они могут сделать в разы лучше

Amazing cover
I've got a youtube loop extension that tracks the number of times I've looped a video. I put this on loop while working and I ended up listening to this stellar cover 111 times in a single day. Which (I believe, assuming I did the math right) is somewhere around 7 and a half consecutive hours of jamming out to the best cover of I'm My Own Master Now! Needless to say, this cover is beyond amazing, and I'm hella excited to spend another 7 hours listening to your next cover/song!
This is how i know you guys are amazing personally i don't really like I'm own master now just compared to the other songs in the game but your cover of it my just be one of the greatest things my hears have every heard
