- I thought I would do a tutorial on how to post your fics on Archive of Our Own. 😊💙 Please let me know what you guys thought, and I'd be glad to help you with any problems you may have with posting your fic on AO3!
I've used ao3 before and came here to learn how to italicize. I was worried you wouldn't cover it but you did by pointing out rich text over HTML. Thank you very much this was informative even though I have posted stories already. Kind wish I had found this video before than lol

oh god i am so glad you clarified about the difference between "/" and "&", i would've been in so much trouble if ppl mistook what i was writing about as romantic lmao
if it helps, u can replace / with x in your brain, since at least from what I've seen on everywhere else more people use x to say they ship characters

Okay, so you're going to go to your works, and you're going to click edit. It's right below the summary if you're on the page with all of your works. As soon as the page loads, there is an "Add Chapter" option at the top. 🥰💖

How do I import from another website? The words are all there but it doesn't keep any of the italics :(

How do you make your fic anonymous?
I'm not sure how to do that. I've never published any of my fics as anonymous. You can orphan works, though. 💖
there's a collection called "anonymous (anon)" apparently it does that, never tried it
Do you know how to add a profile picture on ao3?
Yes! When you pull up the homepage, you hover over your username in the top right hand corner. You select dashboard. When that page pulls up, select profile on the top left. Then click "Edit My Profile" on the page that pulls up. After that, click "Edit Default Psued and Icon." Scroll down and then click choose file. Then click update at the bottom of the page. If the file you want to use is small enough, you should be able to change your profile pic that way. 😊💖
