I used to have a big glass jar (like a big kilner jar) for bath bombs but I usually just get the bubble bars now. I put the bubble bars into ziplock bags and then into a big soap and glory tin that came with a gift set.
I watched a beauty vlogger do a run down of lush bath bombs recently and they had a really big clear (glass or maybe plastic) jar on display with them all which reminded me of old fashioned sweets. I saw it and thought ‘how fancy. Emma needs that!’
Em I totally agree about Normal People - I was addicted and loved it, but it’s actually made me feel depressed for most of the week. I found myself crying randomly during some of the sex scenes. I think it stirred up lots of emotions which probably isn’t a good thing during lockdown! Glad you safe and well x

Okay so I am an essential worker (key worker for y’all brits), and we are surviving. But I keep my bath bombs in a big Tupperware under my sink. The airtight/dark thing seems to help them stay alive!
Have been furloughed since March 18, and baking and eating. I so miss my work and co-workers, but I know it's not forever. Your vlogs truly are a blessing Emma. I’m not a key worker but my partner is a police officer. I have huge amount of respect for all key works and parents! Currently working from home which I hated to start with but now I love not getting dressed 😂😂. Also the skirting boards we just put masking tape round the edge of carpet and it seemed to work. Just put a couple of layers 👍👍

I liked normal people we watched the entire series over the bank holiday weekend. I got a bit emotional in the last few episodes though I must admit and I know what you mean about it being angsty. At one point I was shouting at the TV telling them to just hurry up and get back together as if they could hear me haha. My mum has started watching it and I'm a bit like yeah...lots of nakedness in that haha always hard to imagine your mum watching such things even when you're an adult and don't live with them haha x
Painting your skirting boards without removing your carpet... get wide tape (masking or parcel is fine) and tape along the edge of the carpet. Make sure the tape is up to the edge of the carpet/skirt.
I found that wrapping lush bath bombs in cling film keeps them from going soft. I’d love to find a more environmentally friendly way of preserving them though

Hi Emma, regarding glossing the skirting board get some broad masking tape and stick it to the carpet really close to the skirting board sometimes you can manage to stick it down so it goes down under skirting board, as long as you dont put too much paint on and get runs your carpet should be fine but dont take the tape off while the paint is fully dry 👍😁xx

Hi, have you tried the Bomb Cosmetics bath bombs? I prefer them to the lush ones. There's loads of different ones, they look really cute, smell great, don't make an awful mess of the bath and are wrapped so they don't go manky. You normally find them in gift shops but you can order online too 😊 xx
Im 30 weeks pregnant with a two year old and my partners a keyworker for the nhs. So sorry about your Disney trip, we were meant to be at Disneyland Paris for a week at Easter (when I turned 40) but obv that didn't happen. We never told the kids we were going which made it a little easier but I'm sad they never even knew about the trip. Hopefully might get there next year! Hi Emma! A bathbomb comment! As my partner doesn’t do well with strong perfumey scents I store my bathbombs inside my wardrobe. I just kept one of the boxes they got delivered in and store them in there. They keep well that way - maybe because they don’t get that much light and don’t get too warm? Another advantage is that my clothes always smell lovely 😊 By the way - the deep sleep bathbomb doesn’t hang from your faucet - you can just put it in the bath like a regular bathbomb. It comes in that little bag because there are petals inside and by just putting the whole bag in the bath you save time cleaning up the tub/you won’t have stuff floating around in your bath water. 🌸💜🌸💜🌸💜🌸

We were going to Disney for first ever time this year but am not trying to cancel until next year. Absolutely gutted as is my 8 year old. They are so young they don't really understand, it's hard! Hi Emma! Love your videos, I’ve been watching for years but this is my first time commenting! I work for Lush and thought I would share how I store my bath bombs (because I get through a lot!). So, I have a basket in my bathroom with some in (usually the ones I’m going to use soon) and I also keep some in the little paper bags in my chest of drawers. This helps to the ones you want to keep for a bit longer dry and safe as well as making your clothes smell a-mazing! It also means you kind of get a lucky dip when you pick them back out 😂. If you don’t have the paper bags, wrapping them in tissue paper will work just fine! Keep up the great content , lots of Lushie love, Georgina 💕

I have never been a bath bomb girl, but everything from Lush is "fresh," and I have lost a lot of money by not keeping their products refrigerated, unless you are going to use it quickly. Their products may be okay for cooler weather in the open, but not near a heat source, or in humid warm environments. Or you could maybe try a little insulated cooler (like the size of a lunch box??) in your bathroom. You need to keep the temp and humidity stable.
I liked normal people but the intimate bits were too much lol. I was so nervous my children (25 & 21) were gonna walk in on me watching it and call me a Perv lol. Xxxxx. I’m shielding still as is my husband (pre existing conditions) my son a train driver so he is still working and my daughter working from home - in my bloody lounge!!! X.
I keep my bath bombs in a clear container so they don’t soften. Idea, why don’t you get sliding doors that go along the wall instead of the creepy cupboard door? Would be easier to access everything!!

I'm a science teacher but I've been on mat leave and I'm starting back on the 1st June with setting work from home and looking after a 9 month old. I'm feeling a bit anxious and stressed about the juggle if I'm honest as well as finding the lockdown hard. My husband is working from home so we are both lucky to have work but I'm find it hard to think about working and caring for my baby full time after only looking after him. It really is a confusing time.

Not gross in the slightest sharing bath water. Keeps your water bill down if you’re on a meter! Economical too. I loved Normal People although as I have read the book I knew the storyline before hand! I thought it was a really good adaptation of the book!

It's fine Em, as a family of 4 we used to all use the same water when I was little. Some may call it gross bit we were smaller then.

How about using zip lock bags and then rinsing and reusing them? I don't like bath bombs so sorry if that's not helpful but just a thought xx

Hi Emma, regarding glossing the skirting board get some broad masking tape and stick it to the carpet really close to the skirting board sometimes you can manage to stick it down so it goes down under skirting board, as long as you dont put too much paint on and get runs your carpet should be fine but dont take the tape off while the paint is fully dry 👍😁xx

I work in retail Busy times atm - work in a petrol station so keeping the key workers going and running the shop is hard demand is so high for goods but all is good battling on, hope all is going well with you and the fam emma x

Hi, have you tried the Bomb Cosmetics bath bombs? I prefer them to the lush ones. There's loads of different ones, they look really cute, smell great, don't make an awful mess of the bath and are wrapped so they don't go manky. You normally find them in gift shops but you can order online too 😊 xx
Im 30 weeks pregnant with a two year old and my partners a keyworker for the nhs. Its been a difficult pregnancy and its all mentally and physically draining so youtubes keeping me sane! its the only me time i get at the moment, Im just glad that cbeebies reminds me what day it is 😂 hope youre all keeping well

A mummy trying to work full time from home whilst home-schooling a 9yr and 7yr old (with the help of my husband, also trying to work full time at home)! Thanks so much for these vlogs, a slice of reality in other people's lives is what I need at the moment. So sorry about your Disney trip, we were meant to be at Disneyland Paris for a week at Easter (when I turned 40) but obv that didn't happen. We never told the kids we were going which made it a little easier but I'm sad they never even knew about the trip. Hopefully might get there next year! Keep the vlogs coming, they are really helping to keep spirits up!! xxx
Hi Emma! A bathbomb comment! As my partner doesn’t do well with strong perfumey scents I store my bathbombs inside my wardrobe. I just kept one of the boxes they got delivered in and store them in there. They keep well that way - maybe because they don’t get that much light and don’t get too warm? Another advantage is that my clothes always smell lovely 😊
By the way - the deep sleep bathbomb doesn’t hang from your faucet - you can just put it in the bath like a regular bathbomb. It comes in that little bag because there are petals inside and by just putting the whole bag in the bath you save time cleaning up the tub/you won’t have stuff floating around in your bath water.

It’s ok here in Australia. We moved quickly and got lucky I feel. 97 people have passed, such a small amount compared to the rest of the world. We’re thinking about the way back now, possibly testing everyone to pinpoint those asymptomatic carriers. We were going to Disney for first ever time this year but am not trying to cancel until next year. Absolutely gutted as is my 8 year old. They are so young they don't really understand, it's hard! Hi Emma! Love your videos, I’ve been watching for years but this is my first time commenting! I work for Lush and thought I would share how I store my bath bombs (because I get through a lot!). So, I have a basket in my bathroom with some in (usually the ones I’m going to use soon) and I also keep some in the little paper bags in my chest of drawers. This helps to the ones you want to keep for a bit longer dry and safe as well as making your clothes smell a-mazing! It also means you kind of get a lucky dip when you pick them back out 😂. If you don’t have the paper bags, wrapping them in tissue paper will work just fine! Keep up the great content , lots of Lushie love, Georgina 💕

I have never been a bath bomb girl, but everything from Lush is "fresh," and I have lost a lot of money by not keeping their products refrigerated, unless you are going to use it quickly. Their products may be okay for cooler weather in the open, but not near a heat source, or in humid warm environments. Or you could maybe try a little insulated cooler (like the size of a lunch box??) in your bathroom. You need to keep the temp and humidity stable.
That's what my dad would do paint around the things in the room haha

I keep my bath bombs in a clear container so they don’t soften. Idea, why don’t you get sliding doors that go along the wall instead of the creepy cupboard door? Would be easier to access everything!!

I'm a science teacher but I've been on mat leave and I'm starting back on the 1st June with setting work from home and looking after a 9 month old. I'm feeling a bit anxious and stressed about the juggle if I'm honest as well as finding the lockdown hard. My husband is working from home so we are both lucky to have work but I'm find it hard to think about working and caring for my baby full time after only looking after him. It really is a confusing time.

My mum and I was supposed to take my little boy (20mnths old) to butlins back in April while the husbands worked... My boy didn't know anything but I was gutted it was cancelled as it was supposed to be a little getaway before my little girl arrives, she's due in July x

My favourite smells from lush are so white, dirty or intergalactic. So 2 of them are minty and so white is almost apple-y?

Not gross in the slightest sharing bath water. Keeps your water bill down if you’re on a meter! Economical too. And if your kids are having that many baths and showers in a week they’ll be dead clean anyway! Hope you’re keeping well. I’m majorly struggling this week.
Ethan being upset really set me off. My daughter is 6 nearly 7 (so same school year as Ethan) and she got so upset today as she’s missing her friends so much. But you’ve given me an idea of going to Harry Potter Studio tour with her when we can. She’s majorly into Harry Potter right now.
