Would be cool to see you ride out in the mountains with the pow over your bars
you are not wrong!! i hope next year i can get out west atleast once!!
Where's kota bear
Riding is here where is the videos
Nice to see some trail riding and hear some comparisons 👍 sub for that
How does it handle whoops compared to the 155? Trail riding my 155 Khaos makes me want to drive it into a tree and walk. I'm hoping the 146 is better.
steers way easier than the 155! The whoops you still get beat up just no where near as bad as 155 but you can tell it is not a trail sled for sure
Have you had the chance to try a khaos matryx 650 146?
We tried to find a 850 khaos 146 but no luck so far only a 650..
i have not unfourtantely
Awesome Videos! Enjoy how much info. & detail you put into them! Do you think you could trail ride the slash 146 all day? Or would you be beat sore the next day?
Thanks man and yeah ur gonna beat your self more on the slash 146 rubning trail all day than a indy vr1 129 for sure but i dont think you would be beat sore neccsarliy all depends on how hard u try to ride
My 18 XCR runs at 128 degrees on a good day. Why does it seem like the matrix chassis runs so much colder
Different thermostate the new matryx thermostate kicks on earlier keeping sled cooler
Great sled man love your vids. This might be my next sled but damn they are expensive now my assault still runs like a top so I'll keep it for now.
thanks man!! unfortunately this is the new normal with how exspensive everything is it is getting out of hand...
i wonder why its staying so cool, snow flap maybe?
its a slash there is really a snow flap there
Just switched from a 146 SKS to a khaos 146. You seem to have taken a similar path. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
Does he do RUclips any more or did he stop? I thought he said he was getting a 2023 snowmobile and never posted any riding. Videos or if that sled even came in? That sucks.. hopefully all is good..
Kotabear where you at?
ive been busy and had to sell the sled i had some videos i was gonna make and post but i cant find the files having issues with my hard drive
@KotaBearTV sorry bud, I had to sell mine to. Hopefully next year. Glad your ok at least, I wasn't sure where ya went.
that is unfourtante thanks for checking in hopefully next year or the year after i will be back
I would be interested in your comparison between the SKS 146 and the Khaos 146. Both on and off trail etc…. How do they feel different?
That sled and riding area looks like so much fun
The sled is a riot and the areas were pretty fun inagine abother foot or 2 would be epic
Obviously not as fast as an assault in the trails, but is it any less fun than an assault on the trail? I wouldn't mind going slower if it's just as fun. The added sidehill ability would be awesome and an ok compromise for slower trail speed.
Yes its not as fast as thr assault or as fun but how much more fun it is off trail is worth the compromise for sure!
@@KotaBearTV ok thanks I was hoping you were going to say almost as fun just slower. Off trail season is most fun but way more limited/shorter than full season. Sounds like that narrowing kit we put on last season may still be the way to go.
Yeah but i make the compromise id rather be able to ride the way i want off trail when i can
You going to Maine 3/3-3/5
not sure yet this winter has been a joke
Are you alive?
yes im still alive busy busy
what track is on it?
2.6 146
Get a can for er honestly so nice for these sleds
Kotabear where you at??
Have you ridden a 9r yet?
Unfouratantely no and probaly wont be able too but would love too
@KotaBearTV I ordered one from Rick so hopefully we can meet up on the hill again. I had the purple sks when we had all that snow early on in the season
Yeah it was nice to meet u and ur group would be sweet if we actually get snow next year to meet up and ride
Where at in Maine you starting at? Fort Kent area or way west?
Start right on the edge on the allagash
@@KotaBearTV imma be heading up there in March for 4-5 days. We usually ride that whole northern tier. Gonna try and do some backcountry this year. See how the assault does 🤷🏼♂️
That would be pretty sweet depending on the lug size of your track it will do perfectly fine
@@KotaBearTV I have the 1.6 as I mostly trail, knowing my luck I’ll rip it right into a tree lmao
Lol that is just how it goes sometimes and yeah the 1.6 will do alright but its not ljke the 2 the 2 chews
