So, I'm here because a few years ago I downloaded a Fleshcore mix on youtube due to boredom and finding all the weird corners of the internet. This was a song in that playlist. Took forever to find, because I didn't have the names. This is one of Poppy's best songs, despite it being so minimal. If you're here, you are likely already a fan, but I would just like to suggest Mochi Mochi, which is my favourite. As for the Fleshcore mix, there's a song by a band called Mother Mother, called Body. It's not the same, but it's a very strange song that was probably the best from that playlist. I figure if I'm offering a song, might as well make it two.
It’s about societies standards for music artists. They give and give and give but the fans are never satisfied they want more. The meat referring to the art they put out.
I feel like the parasite is the greed in our capitalist systems. This song is a critique of the meat industry and our general society and how big corporations do whatever they want.
