Fished my '82 out of a salvage yard 2 years ago. Spent the last two years getting it clean and running properly. Runs like a top. Plus it has the full Hondaline luggage package, and everything works!
Oh, does this bring back memories! I had a CB900C nearly identical to this one. Just the sound of the engine on the road was enough to make me a bit nostalgic. It sure is nice to see that some people have really cared for these bikes. I had a lot of good times riding mine.
Well done Junior..it is for sure one of the best I have seen in the Country. I ended up with the blue 750C you guys sold a few years back and I've put 3k miles of smooth but powerful riding on it; she is a stunner and a fast one too...hit 120 many times...according with my friends with speedo that get that high... these are the last bunch of splendid bikes available at decent prices and they are great to ride. Yes, if you're over 6.1' your legs will be a bit cramped up, the carbs need an adjustable float (the goldwing one works wonders on mine) but .....the moment you put these Custom bikes on the center stand she become the talk of the town. One last thing that you may have left out on purpose - with reason - is the dual-ratio 10 speed; boy do these motors need an overdrive and the system is bullet proof. Good luck with the sale..!
These classics really are gorgeous machines. I remember them when they were new and it seems as though they just get better by the day when properly stored and taken care of !!! Beautiful scoot !!!
We currently have one of these in my family. Had lots of bikes come and go this one always stays. If your thinking about it just go for it. Freaking things always runs good and I will admit our maintenance schedule was not very good.
Sharp bike! Just not my taste in color! I know about how fast the CB 900's were, because for years, I owned a 2007 Honda CB 919 Hornet. Had her up to 135mph, and then I let off, because she was still pulling hard. I used to open up the throttle in first gear, and that bike pulled like nothing I had ever experienced before. My bike is identical to you Honda Big Red One that y'all are selling. Thanks for the video like, Brother. Awesome Job Jr. did, as always.
We bought one for me to ride . My Son rebuilt e from the front to the back . Yes your right about drilling the carbs , it cures alot of things. We put headers ect , paint ect . Very nice now and amazing throttle response . He did a lot of work to make respond immediately when you gas on it. Wonderful Son ! He just bought a BMW 1000 r ? It’s a bad asss bike very fast , very everything dangerous. I taught him to ride at around 4 years old. At 5 or 6 years old he won the fair here and County over. As a family we all ride including my girls . I bought everyone dirt bike while they were growing up. I have a motorcycle club now with my family . Just taught my grandson to ride he just turned 4 ! Like my Son very coordinated. Today have street bikes and my son in laws ride also. My little grandson an I started a family motorcycle club. Around 10 if I’d do far , have two more grandchildren being born in the next 5 months . That will be 6 more grand children to teach and they will grow up and be part of a family club ! I can’t believe how blessed I am with such great children , young adults . No WOKE idiots ! I whipped my children when they were growing up. Not hurt them but to make sure they didn’t hurt themselves and made sure they listened. I spanked them because I Loved them ! Today they will tell you it saved them a lot of stupidity. Well hope G D will Bless everyone. Today we need G D to help save us from the. NWO Satanist running everything and ruining our children teaching CRT and Satanism in school. Turning little children into Queers and Steers ! We must Pray for all of the children ! This world has lost its way. Pray 🙏🇺🇸
Those were such sweet bikes back in the day and today as well. My buddy had the same bike except it was Midnight Blue. Always told him if he ever sold it to give me first crack at it but, he moved, we didn’t keep in contact and low and behold he sold it. It is what it is…. Unfortunately.
Nope. Mine was a 1982 CB900 C with full fairing and lowers, no luggage, so i mad e my own racks and passenger backrest. Don't know why, on first trip I bought in 1990 or so, ate all the engine oil at Red Deer Pass. put oil in it and never a problem until I crashed it, then it leaked lots of oil. It was a very good bike, 125 mph two up 300lbs of gear all day long and still get 40mpg. To the lady in the Porsche in 1991 at flathead lake passed me two up loaded, i kept with her until my passenger started punching me in the head to slow down. Yes, we had voice comms, but my timing was retareded. Then I bought a 1996 XL1200S and never looked back. The first year any HD came with fully adjustable suspension, k591 Dunlops, fully floating dual front disc brakes. still have it. dynoed stock in Tampa at 59 rwhp and 60rwtq. None of that altitude correction. They did not believe my bike came out in 1996. They verified everything. My 1996 XL1200S is so early, it has a 1995 wiring harness in it. The only change to 1996, was the flipped the fuse box 180 degrees. This makes finding a screaming eagle ignition box hard. I managed to buy two of them.
My uncle has a mint 1980 CB 900 , high low range is cool , I had a 1982 CB 900 , my low range , was his high range , the 1980 was quicker , looks just like his bike , even the same seat pattern , mine was slightly different pattern o the seat ,
Beware of a drive shaft bike in the twisties if you like to ride hard. The drive pinion, under throttle will climb the ring gear, raising the rear and under deceleration will drop the bike lower in the corners.

Beautiful bike! And it's shaft drive? She's a keeper.
As your long lost adopted son. I find it imperative that I am flown out there now so I can ride all this cool shit u keep on hoarding to yourself.

@@Shornandkenny Have you ever eaten it because the foot peg pivot picked the back wheel up in the corner, enough said.
@@Shornandkenny I was referring to the shaft drive 900.
You will never see shaft drive on a race bike for that reason.
@@Shornandkenny The frame would lower about 1" in decell.
@@Shornandkenny No,I had a 4 into 1 header on my 900 in a left hand turn.
Used to eat up sx1100s kz100 not a chance
