Jimmy plays it off that if someone finds out that Anya got SA’d while under Curly’s command, then it will be a black stain on Curly’s reputation. This is enough to give Curly pause, not thinking his friend is truly capable of killing everyone on the ship. He doesn’t want to believe that Jimmy could do that much harm. Till the lights start blaring. Jimmy in this story is a manipulative, shallow man. He talks about taking responsibility for what is happening on the ship, but constantly is he running from it. In the end he says “I… fixed it” showing that he truly believes he took responsibility for what he did but in the end he still shoots himself, taking the easy way out.
This song choice is PERFECT, are you kidding me? 1:08 "BURNING IN SPACE??" And the imagery from the game is LITERALLY Curly burning in the depths of space? Chef's kiss, really. And the animation is so cool! It's fluid and expressive and CLEAN and I'm in awe you did this on Flipaclip. Honestly just amazing!!

There’s something super sad but fitting for the story that the last thing Curly would touch before being hurt is his supposed friend. Especially considering how cruel Jimmy would be to Curly when touching him after the “accident”.
