Hi Linda, loved the tops, yellow one would look lovely with either wide leg white trousers or white long pencil skirt for holiday's. As for hanger ribbons I hate them and always cut them out, but I keep them for a dress or top that I buy that doesn't have belt loops ! I can colour match the fabric and the ribbons are just the right length and width to sew in loops. As for Euro's, I work a 2pm-10pm shift so glad I'm at work when the games are on ! ❤

Hi Linda, a lady who worked in a clothes shop told me that the ribbons are for transport only so they stay on the hangers. 👍 you should have taken the items out of the man’s basket 😅 thanks for sharing Roman clothing great quality you model well 😊 I watched the football in 1966 I remember it well ❤

I'm a petite size 12, only 4ft 10inches ( I've lost two ins over the years ) so I struggle with the length of dress.Usualky buy petite sizes but they always seem much more experienced. I changed all my hangers years ago to the velvet ones so need for them . My hubby and I don’t like the same things on TV at all , for years it didn’t really matter as he was a shift worker once he retired I bought him his own TV. So I’m in Cinema 1 he’s in Cinema 2 I even pay to have Netflix etc on both TV’s at the same time so it’s happy wife happy life for him 😂.

Hi Linda , love all the tops but the yellow one is too big and blousy on you , good for a round the house top though . The ribbons are there so the clothes don’t come off the hangers while being transported to the shop , I give them to my granddaughter for her dolls hair 🤣 I so agree about the ridiculous length of skirts and especially trousers , I’m only 5’5 and can’t wear heals anymore because of my back and I resent having to pay to get items hemmed ‼️. The first one looked good on you. The yellow one is a bargain. Roman do a 15% discount so look out for that. I tuck the ribbons underneath my bra strap. My mother always had a shopping list, I never do so that's why I'm the same as you forget the one item that I most wanted 😂😂

As others have said I agree with the ribbons and cut them off straight away some times cut off the label in the back of neck too as they are scratchy and annoying!! All the tops were nice on you and the square neck one looked great and suited you 😄

A pretty selection of tops Linda, especially the last two, (yellow and lighter blue) but all were really pretty on. Maybe size down in the yellow, but the colour looked great on you. I detest all televised sport so live TV channels are OUT for me in summer. And annoying having to fund the BBC which becomes nothing more than a sports channel in summer. Hooray for Netflix and RUclips, including your channel, for keeping me sane through summer. Those ribbon tabs? Out with the scissors when I get anything home. They are only for the benefit of retailers to keep garments on their cheap hangers. And the problem with those lengths on big clothes is that patterns are sized up 1-2 inches each size, all round, so if the cutters make the original in a size 10, imagine how many inches on a hem by size 24! The answer is to employ plus size people to inject a little reality into sizing up, but of course only the super-thin fit with the fashion industry. But anyone who is making money from the plus-size market should be listening to what we say. Maybe a RUclips channel trying on gorilla tops and giraffe bottoms and shaming the companies who make them would help us! Today I have to pick up a garment from a local seamstress who has removed 6 inches in length from the hem, so added £18 to the cost of my purchase. I don't mind whipping up a hem a little, but not confident to cut into a brand new item that cost nearly £100!

Labels are always on the left hand seam. Both of my daughters live in 4 bed detached houses with gardens. They both have tumble dryers & use them! Si having a garden dies not equate to no tumblers! I might add I have the biggest house & garden & I line dry when poss (have some heated rails & a drying box to use in winter) I do not have tumbler!

Canadians are not really like that. But anyway, I like all the tops on you. Nice and colourful and probably wash well without ironing. My only suggestion would be to try some self tanning lotion or spray on your arms. It works for me. 😊

Lately, I have been buying plain, solid T-shirts...so boring 😴 And I really appreciated your commentary on flats for young families. It's quite sad really that housing costs are so outrageous. It limits the options for young and old. Loved the 'ikat' print blouse.

Anyway…..yellow top is, perhaps, not the best of the bunch but for the price and considering what you want it for….keep it. All the others are good. Washing inside out? My mum always said turn everything inside out before washing particularly coloureds. Never questioned it and when you think about it that washpowder/liquid is going throughout the cloth so….why? I do turn everything inside out before hanging on the line to stop the sun fading darling garments. Mother again! However, can’t recall her opinions on the ribbons! What a pain they are! I cut them out and hand to a few friends who do crafts. No idea if they really want them though! They are definitely a Room101 candidate. Xx Liz😊

Hi Linda I like Roman and they have a variety of styles . Some are a bit OTT pricewise but as long as it’s comfortable on I think. Most of the garments wherever you get them from are like that with washing instructions. I love that Aztec print top as it’s beautiful on. I love that navy top on you. I would wear those two tops myself The yellow top seems a bit big on the arms to me but how you feel that matters. The blue one I like too but it’s up to you which one you pick really. The clothes of today are quite long . The reason why they put ribbon on them is that some coat hangers have a place to put the string apart from the steel part that you hang on the rail. Embarrassing incident at security, my Miss Mary of Sweden bra the one that has underwire built like girders sent the airport scanner berserk I was marched off to be searched I could have told her what the offending object was but her face looked like the gestapo so decided to keep quiet, that was going out took no chances through Spanish security so came back bra less!! . The ribbons are in transit straps, they should be cut off, apparently 🤔I always cut mine off, why would anyone leave them on, they always pop out somewhere. I thought you looked lovely in everything, and that yellow top really suited you. Nice haul from Roman Linda. x

I liked all the tops... apart from the one you liked, sorry. I thought the first one too fussy and the one I really liked was the one I initially thought I wouldn't like... if that makes any sense! As for families living in flats I have to agree with you... even though I was brought up in a flat. I was always out playing with my mates. But it was a different time back then, kids did play out all day, didn't they? Anyway I hope my choices help you make your mind up 😊 xx

I like Roman and they have a variety of styles . Some are a bit OTT pricewise but as long as it’s comfortable on I think. Most of the garments wherever you get them from are like that with washing instructions. I love that Aztec print top as it’s beautiful on. I love that navy top on you. I would wear those two tops myself
The yellow top seems a bit big on the arms to me but how you feel that matters. The blue one I like too but it’s up to you which one you pick really. The clothes of today are quite long . The reason why they put ribbon on them is that some coat hangers have a place to put the string apart from the steel part that you hang on the rail.

I like all the tops but the yellow one isn't the best on your skin tone. I get so frustrated with the manufacturers adding the bits and pieces that create rubbish we have to recycle. Have a lovely weekend in the sunshine 🌞

Hi Linda I liked all your different tops, just the yellow one I wasn’t sure was your colour. Well obviously I’m back I’m afraid you only get rid of me for a week…been to Majorca. Embarrassing incident at security, my Miss Mary of Sweden bra the one that has underwire built like girders sent the airport scanner berserk I was marched off to be searched I could have told her what the offending object was but her face looked like the gestapo so decided to keep quiet, that was going out took no chances through Spanish security so came back bra less!! . Yes those ribbons are a damn nuisance. See you again soon xxx

As for those bits of ribbon, whilst yes I can see why they are there,(maybe 🤣), I do snip them off right away 😊 Don't worry about moaning, you do it in a very amusing way, and anyway , better off your chest🌰🌰😂 I am definitely a sports widow 🙄Hubby loves footie, rugby,cricket,horse racing, and now good old ladies cricket and ladies footie🤭 still, at least he's not gawping at the bouncing boobies and jiggling bums🤤, (he's a bit too old 👴😂)
