@FLOTRACK She has to go down in the annals of sports, THE MOUNT RUSHMORE OF TRACK AND FIELD, AS ONE OF THE GREATEST, TO EVER BLESS SPORTS. I CANNOT BELIEVE IT, I THOUGHT SHE WAS CRAZY.
Hassan could still, if she wanted to challenge herself personally, focus on gaining or regaining some of the world records in some of these events. She's actually held some of them for brief periods of time. She could also for instance focus on seeing how close she could come to challenging faith in the 1500. She also has a 156 800 m in her, so she could try an 800 1500 5,000 m triple
she means countries like Ethiopia that have a lot of depth in distance running. Netherlands does not have that kind of depth so she can do anything she wants where a country with that depth wants to give more athletes a chance at the Olympics. Netherlands has a population of 17 million and no particular culture of distance running while Ethiopia has a population of 132 million and distance running is the national sport. They have a much deeper talent pool of deserving athletes.
Sifan Hassan came behind being speedy and pushed Tigist aside and stumbled. Taking that chance, Hasan has got a few seconds to dash out. Sifan is very aggressive and takes advantage of her. She has a grudge for Ethiopian athletes. The International Athletics Committee should take decisive and proper action against Hasan for such an improper act and continuous blockage.
Buy some new glasses And look 👀 again. It’s embarrassing what this Ethiopian athlete did to push Sifan in the border This Ethiopian athlete knows already that she couldn’t win the Paris Marathon So she blocked Sifan Hassan
Assefa and Tsegay are dirty racers. It’s sad to see Ethiopian athletes stoop so low in terms of athletic moral character. Maybe their high testosterone levels are making them aggressive.
Not at all what happened. First off, Sifan was next to Tigist when Tigist tried to squeeze Hassan into the barriers, she definitely saw her. Hassan defends her line properly and thwarts Tigist attempt at keeping her behind. If someone is dirty and has a grudge it’s the Ethiopian athlete
@@r0der1ck_0nl1ne Exactly that! Anyone who has seen the "helicopter shot" has clearly seen that the Ethiopian tried to push Hassan oin the barriers while Hassan was already next to her, and passing her.
It's only some Ethiopians who see it with nationalistic glasses. False patriotism. Sore losers. 🤮 The 2 Kenyans on spot 3 and 4 were a lot more honest, full of admiration. One said she wished she was Sifan Hassan.
I am curious as to why Sifan Hassan was wearing a hijab at the medal ceremony but not when she races? I thought that Muslim women who wear the hijab wearing it all the time.
I think hassan is getting more love this olympics than last (deserved love). I felt she was somewhat overshadowed the last olympics.

I'm convinced we don't talk about Sifan Hassan enough. She is INCREDIBLE!
She always looks like she's suffering but she is so versatile and so strong. Guts. I would love to see someone challenge Courtney in ultras.
Congratulations The GOAT sifan hassan 🧡💪huge effort waw waw for a heroine athlete I just wish you all the best in life✴🥇👋
Sifan ran 2:13: 00 in the Chicago marathon, so she can break 2:11:00.

@@skiziskin 18 million (not counting illegals and under 4 months short-term residents ) is much closer to the truth, but yeah.
@@skiziskin oh! Yeah that makes sense. That is for taking the time to explain! 👍🏾
Gonna miss Olivia.

"she likes a slower pace " ? A new Olympic record ?
Olympic records were likely this time since the weather was a little better than tokyo and before that super shoes didn't exist

Probably the heat. She was wearing graphite beads on her head for extra cooling.
