I’ve been a Gibson guy for a long time, but last year I found a near mint condition 1995 Taylor 615 and it is now the best sounding and playing guitar I own. Love the Bob Taylor jumbo. And I cannot wait to try out the new Legacy 815e. I hope to see more of the 15 shapes. The curves alone are the coolest looking guitars I’ve seen. ❤
I recently purchased a used 1992 555 and it is seriously a beauty. There will be many 12 string players happily enjoying the Legacy 855, and that bridge is awesome!
514ce - Brought me into the Taylor family 25 years ago and continues to sing loudly today. Funny thing is, it has also invited several other Taylors into the collection over the years. Not a bad one in the bunch!
Love you Bob!!!! Thank you for making Custom Lefties. I still love my Custom Sitka, EIR, CV Braced - early 900 series inlay (with presentation series bridge inlay) with maple binding custom lefty I bought back in 2010! Love your Company and everything you stand for. THANK YOU!!!!
I have an old Taylor 750 12 string in my local luithers shop now , (and a Taylor dealer) , getting a neck reset and saddle, maybe a new nut . It is a made in Lemon Grove model. Im excited !!!!
I'm very fortunate to be the owner of a limited edition 810e for a number of years now. The 810 is arguably my all time favorite Taylor guitar. I'm also fortunate to own a 414ce as well with ovangkol back and sides that will give the 810 a run for it's money.
Just as important as the 810 90's version was the 510 90's version. I think if you are making a rosewood Legacy dread than a mahogany version is needed as well. Back in the day, and even true to today, there were always 2 types of players, Rosewood and Mahogany, and then the others like maple and so forth. 510's back in the 90's were a special guitar for sure and need a place in this new Legacy series, IMO.
I have 7 Taylor's and 3 are 810s. I have a 94 that is my favorite and most prized of all of them. The 810 is an amazing guitar and I can not believe it was ever dropped from the line.I own a 717E and it is nice...It is NOT an 810!
So cool hearing the history of Taylor from Bob himself, really enjoyed this!
Taylor is back! I will buy Taylor guitar again. Yes X-bracing and LR baggs.
So happy to see the 810 come back, without the v class bracing.
The Legacy guitars sound incredible...as expected from Taylor! Congratulations on 50 years, y'all!!
There is a special place in my heart for Taylor guitars ❤

Longtime owner of a Taylor GA. To me, it's the perfect guitar.
