Very nice video Yuqing. Thank you for explaining to people how the Max Lens Mod works. Where did you see that the GoPro gyro sampling frequency is 3kHz? One minor correction. IMX577 isn’t the older version of IMX677, that would be IMX277. Sony part numbering is confusing to say the least! IMX277 and IMX677 both use the SLVS-EC interface. IMX577 (which is the successor to IMX477) uses a MIPI interface. There are some other feature differences too. Having said that, it’s not that relevant because IMX277 and IMX577 have the same pixel (1.55um) and array size (4K x 3k) so it doesn’t change any of the points you were making.
ruclips.net/video/0r8fM-OVUfM/видео.html There was a interview on Fusion , that was 3200Hz , so I assume on HERO9 the sample rate will be at least 3KHz. This is not scietific I admit. Also thanks a lot for your minor correction.
@@YuqingGuo ah, yes! I forgot about that video, and didn't realize it contained such specific information on the gyro sample rate. Good job in noticing the details.
Great Video, I hope Kandao do this changes like your review before about UI adding extra stuff bracketing and etc, Is really sad they don't do that, I totally agree with would make great results :)
Well, Gopro 9 is the winner so that is the one I will be buying then! Great video! Thanks! 🥳🤗 I was considering Theta Z1 money it is not a problem so I am still deciding! But I am more inclinining towards the Gopro 9!
Another great video and analysis! Would be great to have a single lens option in Qoocam app. Can the insta360 One R 1" mod be considered for this kind of shooting?
I do hope so. One R 1" is also possible but need future firmware update to support. And you will have narrower FOV after Horizonal Lock on One R 1: mod
Many thanks for this very informative analysis. As an owner of the GoPro Max though I'm a little disappointed it wasn't included for it's single lens (Hero mode) potential.
Good point! GoPro MAX is the same as Insta360 One X2. They have the same spec sheet for single lens. And GoPro HERO 9 MAX Mode really rivals GoPro MAX HERO Mode
@@michaelkeating7380 ok i follow now. The Hero mode with horizon leveling is the same as Hero9- just smaller scale (1080p vs 2.7k)..

Excelent video HQ material thanx, I'm user X2. (OFF TOPIC) Mr Guo back late 2020, you talk about a PHOTO FRAME with family, what dimensions of photo do you order, your photo was a 360, can you add in your awesome work, about PhotoPRINT in 360 ?
The 8k just has much higher resolving power better resolution when cropping to normal field of views, cleaner more natural sharper image. Qoocam 8k has 10 bit color depth much better color accuracy smoother color gradients, looks a lot more pleasing to the eyes. Much better dynamic range as well compared to One x2 and one R
@@MrMetz79 Better results and better raw files to work with. More in depth workflow worth it though. I've gotten shots on my Qoocma 8k that will never be able to reproduce nowhere near the quality and higher level of correction editing post production. Be it you get a good unit. Order direct form site i suggest. The older versions first releases have had defocusing issues when becoming hot during use / video use. It's higher bit depth and way better HDR photos tbh. Super HDR 2.0 one Qoocam 8k is amazing and Insta360 has a broken HDR mode on One X2 right now. Have to manually do HDR Merge on desktop for better results. Qoocam 8k Night Shot is insane on the level of Dynamic Range from it's stacked 16Bit Raw. Beastly. At the moment HDR and Night Shot are noisy renders on the app and Pureshot seems to do better results than HDR or Nightshot all the time. Surprised insta360 cant Do a better Stacking algorithm yet or fix HDR issues after that huge surge in customer base they got recently. New features but not much upgrades or fixes in existing features that can be worked on and need work on instead of introducing one after the next and forgetting about it. Having unfinished unpolished features. Qoocam 8k is better for photography. Next step would be Theta Z1. If you rather Best quality Raw Workflow I wish i had my Qoocam 8k still. One X2 is great better on the video side easier to edit and process.

Why is the 8K your favorite?
Is it as easy to use with app for virtual tours?
