I had the pleasure of calling Tony a friend. We would meet for tequila in a dark corner of a place in NYC called the Hog Pit. He liked it because they sort of low key protected his privacy. He was not cut out for the celebrity he found himself in, and he could not just walk away from nice people who wanted to share their own experiences. It was a hard life for a guy 'of the people.' I miss him.
There are so many great people, for me he just clicked in a way that inspired a huge life change! But it’s a hard call.. there are so many people I can say have inspired different things in me.. I’m intrigued though so who would be your top one or two people?
What a great video Nick, such a good story
Thanks so much Karl, it means a lot coming from you!
This was so sweet. Thank you for breaking down what it was the world loved about Bourdain.
Thanks so much much Ché!

Thank you so much for commenting and sharing that, I can only imagine how tough it must have been for him. I’m very sorry for your loss too.

great camera quality Nick!
Thanks!
I'm not sure he'd be my number 1, but top 10 definitely and top 5 very probably.
