I was born in Kenya and lived there for 53 years. I used to visit Diamond Plaza every weekend for veggies. A trip across the parking lot to buy bhajias was a frequent treat, along with chevda, jalebis and halva.
Wonderful very tempting & MOUTH WATERING NAIROBI'S BHAJIYA AND SPECIALLY CHUTNEY ARE 100% NAIROBI KENYAN STYLE RECEIPE. We are in London and use to go Maru Bhajiya house on Ealing Road Wembley. Very simple way you showed receipe. 😀👌
Thank you for this. Is there a way to stop the spices from separating when the potatoes are fried? As I noticed some of the spices from the potatoes start floating in the oil when frying.
I like this method of adding flour gradually to the mix the other method of starting with water and flour is tricky and you could end up finishing a sack of potatoes like i just did! Thanx for sharing the nairobi way.
Here in Wembley ( London) Marus are very famous and we used to go to Wembley for this Bhajia but now since I’ve started making it at home we don’t go there. Thanks for sharing it.
@@thecookinghub3142 start adding Maru bhajiyas one by one in hot oil . not slowly by Slowly (is the correct way to say that line) We all make mistakes. It's funny to speak English while thinking in Gujarati. Your Maru bhajjis looks awesome.

My dear this is not original. Born in Kenya 🇰🇪 Ever Sunday this was our Lunch . Please don’t call this original. Thanks
I'm also born in Kenya.
We have a restaurant that my family runs in Nairobi since many years & this is how it's made ok
We like it but you took so long
People get bored .
Same thing you going again and again
Next time do little short do people watching.
Okay thanks for your suggestion
I am going to make this Bhajia and sell for £6.00 a plate!
Hey all the best. Make it & send photos.
Your chatney is not proper you have missed main item like carrots and cucumbers and garlic and onions not much only 5% of tomatoes ok and lemon juice ok we in Kenya do it regular since 1965 ok thanks
Hey we don't ever add carrot or cucumber ever in that chutney originally it's A recipe even onion & garlic is not a part of it.
It’s not African recipe. Originally an Indian family with the surname Maru had a restaurant with this recipe back in the 50s, 60s and 70s.
The chutney is not authentic. You didn't add cucumber and carrot in it.
Hey dear you can add, but as in our restaurant we dont add, that's how we make it since years. That's how our customer's love our bhajias You can even check others recipe most don't add carrot or cucumber
