    thank you a lot for not only showing this, but also talking through the process, it is actually very helpful. I was able to remove the top cover of my camera, and then remove the lens in front of the eyepiece and blow a piece of dust/hair that somehow made that way there. Not that I could see when looking through the camera (was blurry when putting your eye on it) but I could see it when looking *at* the camera somehow and it has been driving me crazy for months and months

    man, the little brass plunger that goes inside the shutter button is very annoying to deal with

    Great video. I am trying to repair my AE1 Program's faulty shutter release.
    When shorting the ground screw to the top magnet pin solder nothing happens. However if I push the shutter release button the same time, then the shutter magnet releases. I have checked on both magnet's resistance and they are normal. I have also cleaned the magnet surfaces. What would you recommend next? Thank you, Frank.

    What do you use to glue that rubber cover back down near the advance lever?
