Sadly that's not manual. You are selecting gears, you can do the same with a conventional auto tranny (when you put the car L, 2, 3 and D). Manual is the one with the manual clutch and the manual select of the gears. But sweet tutorial, loved the launch (repeated like 5 times)

in M mode will it still switch gears on its own? Will it automatically downshift when you're stopping?
In manual mode if you’re stopping it will downshift for you.

lol, where is your "paddle" in your "paddle shifter"? paddle means clutch, brake and accelerator. this car is semi-automatic, doesn't have any clutch.
